I seen him around elsewhere a month or so ago. I still want a pipe from each one of them. Slowroll's tall pipes are amazing, and I fell in love with Perkins "orchid" the first time I laid eyes on one.
I totally derailed the point of this thread.

I've been in aviation maintenance for 39+ years. Proud to be called a mechanic. I've worked on general aviation aircraft, offshore, and air ambulance helicopters, regional airlines, you name it. Been a mechanic / director / inspector / supervisor and worn many hats. Been promoted, laid off, hired, but never fired. Night shift / day shift / on call around the clock. Always in the weather, rarely in a hangar. Worked more holidays than I've had off. It's what I do and all I know. "It's all ball bearings, now".

Commercial Electrician "Hey! Who left this Breaker open???" At the start of my first day of Journeyman's class, our Instructor, a renowned veteran of many projects and whose father built the first powerhouse in Taos, told us that as Electricians, we had three things to look forward to: Terror, Anger, Depression. Terror that someone would close a circuit we are working on. Anger when they do it. Depression as in "Why do I put myself through this misery?" The class went up from there, fortunately.

This is not a joke.
I just a phone call that my neighbor's brother was killed on the job site today. It seems a swinging snatch block got away from the handlers and hit him square in the head killing him. I do not have more detail as the cell phone service sucks here. Hard to imagine something like this happening. There are so many safety protocols for handling those things. Still, he was killed on the job. Knowing him, that is the way he would have liked to gone versus a slow and agonizing illness. Not much comfort to his family.

Wow, that is a bummer, what an awful way for the family to enter the holidays, a mere 12 days before Thanksgiving.

That's rough, brother. You leave for work thinking you'll be home that evening...
At for the op, I hear from him the odd time. He is concentrating more on cigars at the mo. He eased off before things kicked off earlier in the year.
