Thanks Martin. I think it goes well with the room... ...I have that same sofa/loveseat in brown leather at my ranch, lol... Ha. It's one of my craigslist finds. Picked it up for $100 a few years back. Actually the leather wingback chairs were $100 for the pair as well. I paid through the nose for the tables though... $110 ! I think I also got taken to the cleaners on the wall unit. I think I paid either $125 or $150. ;-) Did I mention that I'm a CSOB?

But the one that I The gentleman I bought it from, @ an antique shop, said he was told it was from the 1870's or 1880's. I'm not so sure. It doesn't have any markings. The case, which I believe is original to the pipe, only says French Briar. It has a translucent red stem and a gold band. I haven't refurbed the pipe, or touched it at all really. It's just a pretty little briar I keep on my shelf. I'd welcome any feedback. Dino By looking at it, I would say that the guy at the antique shop was pretty darn close...that is a great looking pipe.

I have bought a few 'estate' pipe on ebay. Haven't a clue how old they are. So apart from those all I've got is my legend which I bought 3 years ago. Hardly worth posting. Actually, it's in my avatar. ...nonsense... we love your Legend... prompted me to buy two of them... 😂😂
