Bill Miller BBQ in San Antonio (chair restaurant) has fried chicken that my wife says is as good as her mom's (Ky. country) and white gravy that is unbelievably fantastic, great in other words. Couldn't believe this was fast food.

For me its not so much specific food but establishments. And this is only when they are running perfectly with a good staff. Taco Bell - It's freakin' Taco Bell! Arby's - That roast beef and the BBQ brisket, pretty good stuff. Cookout - The food really tastes like a basic neighborhood cookout with friends and they make wicked shakes. Wendy's - A straight up good burger that's juicy and the never frozen patty really makes a difference. Steak 'n Shake - The only downside is the fries could be better. Sonic - The hot dogs stink but tatter tots are a fun side option. Skyline and Gold Star Chili - Both are great for Cincinnati style chili. BoJangles - If you gotta get fried chicken without going to a real old school southern establishment, then its the next best thing. Mr. McWiggins I have not had a tater tot since the lunch lady served it to me over 45 years ago. Sonic is awful, nuff said!

I'm... sorry a light opinion on the subject of food has offended you so much?

I don't each much fast foot anymore, but I would have to go with "Raising Canes" and "Chick Fil A." When I can get it, I also love "In N Out" burgers.

Not a huge amount of fast food to choose from here, but my wife and I like bean burritos from Taco Bell. Simple food but you need the Fire sauce! We, well I like Little Caesars deep dish pepperoni lunch pizzas too. Soon we'll have a Captain D's near us; salty, greasy, battered, deep fried fish! Good once in a while. I miss Captain D's. We used to have one by our house that was great. The only thing better was Zeider Zee's seafood, long gone too.

They only have one thing on the menu. The place I used to work was down the street from one. There was a Burger King, a Sonic, and a Culver's on the other three corners and every one had better chicken strips. And better dips, if you like that.

Culver's is my favorite drive through food, with Arby's a close second. Firehouse Subs are the best sub sandwiches I have had. I had a Culver's pot roast sandwich the other day. They also have a fantastic grilled Reuben, pork cutlet, and fish sandwiches. Good fries and a great selection of ice cream treats. Dairy Queen deserves a special mention. They keep Texas rolling.

When I place an order at Hardee’s or Arby’s it’s at the window to go.....I much rather eat at home.....wherever that is at the moment!!

If I ever get to Buffalo, I am going to the Anchor Bar. I have a friend who used to work for them and he made the best wings ever.

I’m a sucker for a McDonalds basic cheeseburger. Just the right amount of meat and the diced onions top it off.
Whopper with cheese. KFC potatoes and gravy, with some biscuits to dip.

The Tamale Ladies from San Luis, CO come to this area. Sadly, they do not stop be here. Can you imagine warm tamales brought to your door?

In and out double double no tomatoe animal style. I-&-O used to be first stop arriving in California, driving from NM. Cross the Colorado River, pass through Needles and head for Palmdale and In-&-Out. Crossing the Mojave Desert, all I could think about was that Double Double Animal Style. Perhaps by now, they have shown mercy to us pilgrims and opened a store in Needles? Edit: Upon visiting their website, they now have a store in Kingman AZ. That ought to work... hold me until Palmdale.

Couldn't believe this was fast food. I eat their fried chicken on a regular basis. Delicious. My favorite fast food: Double-meat Whataburger add cheese, bacon, and grilled onions. Add a Dairy Queen pineapple shake on the side, thank you very much.

I used to have to drag my coworkers to a Chik Fil A on every business trip out of the city. Now I can hide my shame and eat it locally

Now that is sad. I've seen the badly injured cows that have survived an 18 wheeler transport crash. I know they are heading to the slaughter house where their fate is sometimes worse, but they are still living creatures and I hate to see them hurt and injured.

Looks like all the cows survived for the moment. When I was living in Georgia a trailer rolled numerous times on 295, also known as the Perimeter, not a cow walked away so lucky.
