Just finished smoking Peter Heinrichs Curly Block in a very early Ascorti straight New Dear KS billiard with a smooth shank and a black acrylic stem. Internet was out for a bit, but it and the TV are back on now.

Now smoking 2006 McClelland Tawny Flake in a 1980 Stanwell 668 medium bend half black sandblasted, half brown smooth rough top with a multi-colored dark yellowish ferrule and black vulcanite stem. Watching the Thin Man marathon. Hate that I missed most of the first movie, but I have a DVD of the series, so it's no loss.

Rainy and 46F this Christmas Eve. Starting off a little different than normal with hot Earl Grey black tea while smoking Peter Stokkebye Luxury Navy Flake in a grade P James Upshall apple.

Smoking some McClelland #2015 in an MM Country Gent after a light lunch of black bean soup. Time for my four Peterson System pipes, Two 307s and two 312s, to have their regular servicing. Vulcanite stems get an Oxi Clean bath followed by a Magic Eraser scrub and a pipe cleaner with some Kettle One vodka. I gave up on keeping the little cursive "P" painted logo on the stems long ago. I use silver cleaner on the caps. Shank sump designs are cleaned with Q-tips. Bowl rims receive a Nivea Crème cleansing after which the exteriors receive a bees' wax rub down and polishing with an organic hemp cloth. It's actually a lot of fun and the finished product is always enjoyable. Drinking some regular Budweiser this Christmas eve afternoon and watching NFL.

About half way through this bowl of Edward G. Robinson's Pipe Blend in a 1982 black sandblasted paneled slight bend Savinelli flat bottom sitter with a black vulcanite stem. A bottle of Sprite is my drink. Off to my sister's home to celebrate Christmas. See you folks later.

Half way through this bowl of D&R VIP in a 2004 smooth long shank Canadian Trever Talbot Ligne Bretagne Faite en Bretagne 4/3 with a black vulcanite stem. A cup of hot tea is my drink. Had a great time with family, and am home watching Meet Me in St. Louis.

Was looking forward to Christmas eve smokes, but been sick most of this week with upper respiratory distress... kinda feels like unceasing water-boarding torture. Will get to my GQ 2015 Christmas Blend when the old wind pipe & nose clear up.
