How do you make your coffee?

Drip coffee in the morning due to ease of making and the amount of caffeine. Always whole bean and always fresh ground.
Espresso whenever I have the time ... would love to own an old manual / lever espresso machine someday.

I'll check that out!
One of the great things about the auto-drip maker is that it's ready when my alarm goes off. All I have to do is stumble to the coffee pot. LOL

Not only is it a true to form pour over (heating the water to the correct temperature, pouring, and then reheating the water again in cycles), but it's a fully functional digital Brewer with all the bells and whistles. It'll make Chick-Full-O-Nuts taste like proper coffee.

My go to machine is this one:
French press makes a slightly more flavorful cup, but...
1. I'm lazy
2. It makes 12 cups (enough for my wife and I)
The key with a drip coffee maker is to make sure it will heat to 200 degrees F.

Bunn VPR...going strong since 2005, and still looks new. Keurig for single cups.

Use whole beans, fresh ground, and an auto drip maker. Whole beans freshly ground makes a big difference to me regardless of the style of coffee maker.

Ground coffee starts losing flavor within 30 minutes.

Decaffeinated go home.. blah !! While at the hospital a couple of mornings ago, one of the nurses asked me if I wanted some coffee. I said "of course." She told me it was decaf, so I replied "then it's not coffee." She had the most puzzled look on her face. Decaffeinated coffee is the equivalent of sugar free candy... minus the squirts

I have one because I'm the only one in the house that drinks coffee. I have a refillable "k cup" and use it for fresh ground. Although it's not the best coffee in the world, it works.

Oh good gosh for the love of God no. Keurig costs to much per serving for a coffee lover. Now if you only drink one cup a day and can get the Kcups for free from work there is a waiver form. Let us never speak of this again.

Use to be French Press but unfiltered coffee will raise your blood pressure so not I use a Bonavita Brewer. Fantastic brewer!

How do you make your coffee? Seriously very seriously and in quantity.
All kidding aside, i prefer a good dark roast, french press or old school peculator are the best in my book. i do have reusable keurig pods that get more use because of time.
If you can find a local roaster the coffee will always be better, but if you need to use store bought, i highly recommend SBC or Peet's.

Bunn for the win! I've had one for about 20 years. Makes a great cup of coffee in 3 minutes. The only issue I've ever had with it was when it blew the internal fuse (it has a double inline fuse. One for the burner and one for the brewer). I bought one on Ebay for about 4 bucks, watched a youtube video, and replaced it in about 15 minutes. I drink black coffee. I don't like an acidy blend, but I don't like a really dark roast either. I like Fresh Market Kona blend a bunch, but it is kind of pricey. I keep a can of French Market Medium Roast (with chicory) on hand too. It is pretty tasty and I like having a real coffee can to store stuff in when the coffee is gone. BTW, cream and sugar and other foo-foo crap do not belong in your coffee. Do you think this guy adds cream to his coffee? I rest my case

Whole bean, fresh ground with manual grinder, old school percolator. I then fill up my thermos which keeps me in hot coffee for quite a while. On a few occasions, in a pinch, I poured through hot water through a bandana filled with grounds and it was great! Just make sure its a clean bandana.

Here's that KitchenAid pour over type. Looks good. But I grind Peet's French or Italian roast and 30 seconds later it's in a puck with 205º water pushing through. (Quickmill Andreja machine) French press for variety, though the wife does auto drip, Peet's Major Dickison. Aeropress for traveling. Keurig! Only in hotel rooms when nothing else is available. Nespresso is a better one cup solution, though.

If I travel by car anywhere for more than a couple days, I bring the Breville, Rancilio Rocky grinder, and a couple pounds of fresh coffee.

Nespresso is a better one cup solution, though. just looked up the quickmill. That thing had BETTER make good coffee. I wanted a Technivorm, initially, but it didn't have auto-brew, and for $150 less, the Kitchen Aid did, so that was a no-brainer for me. I like a french press once in a while, but I like pour-over coffee best. A Chemex is a wonderful, and sharp looking Brewer, but it takes a lot of attention. The thing with a pour-over, is you pour the water at the correct temperature, let it steep and drain, and repeat. It gives the grounds enough time to release their flavor. I've never had an auto-drip produce a well-balanced, non-acidic, cup of coffee like a pour-over. I haven't tried an aeropress yet, though. To my knowledge it's pretty much a french press with a finer filter, no?

Brew basket, mug, coffee & water. Stir, steep for five minutes and stir again. Pull out basket and drink. Sometimes if needing more than a cup or two, I use the cowboy method. Cold brewing in the summer. I've tried all sorts of styles but these ways are cheap, need little equipment, little effort and give me a full bodied brew.

I have one because I'm the only one in the house that drinks coffee. I have a refillable "k cup" and use it for fresh ground. Although it's not the best coffee in the world, it works. We use the Keurig during the week we just started unplugging the Bunn, as I leave the house before the wife, and with the reusable baskets, we are not wasting as much coffee...Bunn Gets plugged in on Friday night. We have enough pods on hand to please most visitors, and it is never a problem to make a single cup before a gust departs at night, when I do not want coffee before bedding down. The Keurig really has it's place, and can be had cheaply from thrift stores NIB...I am guessing that non coffee drinkers are gifted them and then off to Goodwill they go...we even got a tri-pack of reusable pods for a buck. The Keurig is not my go to for a coffee at home, but it has it's place. The Bunn has on demand hot water, which makes a gallon of tea a pretty quick.
