On the first day of the battle, the casualties of Britain and the Empire were 57,470 men. 21,391 dead and missing, 35,493 wounded, and 585 prisoners. When first reported on the numbers [which were below the actual number of 17,470] D.Hague cynically said: "These losses cannot be considered serious given the number of people involved and the length of the front of the attack...the nation must learn to withstand the losses ... the nation must be ready to see the lists with the heavy losses."
Iron Maiden - Paschendale [or Battle of Flanders or Third Battle of Ypres 31 July–10 November 1917]
I am smoking Olaf Poulsson Νο. 12 in a BC, double Greek coffee plus cool water beside me.

Edward G Robinson's Pipe Blend... this is the blend that resets my sporadic rotations back to zero... like coming home to the hearth from a long sea fairing jaunt.

MacBaren Virginia No.1 in a MM Legend. While I adjust mother natures all white art work today. Why she thinks everything needs to be white, I have no clue. So I’m adding in some black driveway and gray sidewalk accents. With a brush and shovel! Gin and tonic after I’m finished

Skandinavik Natural, a blend that's been out of production for almost 40 years, mixed 50/50 with Amphora's Kentucky Blend {a magical flavor combo} in a Hillson bent egg, paired with the last of the evenings coffee.

cleaning out some jars this morning. I mixed some latt related scraps and some unsweetened black cavendish with the last of my Triple Crown. I ended up with something that reminds me of F.M.A.P.; I'm smoking it now ,in a Tinder Box Unique...
no skill...just luck!
