Evening patchers,
Last night I had my first bowl of Five Bros and I’ll say, better than expected. Wasn’t as strong and fast burning as many reviews state. It is a pretty pure and no nonsense kind of tobacco. Burned well in the Medico Guardsman.
This morning I enjoyed a bowl of HnH Daybreak, in the GBD with a strong coffee. It got pretty tasty about a third of a bowl in. Nice blend that one. I like how all the elements are discernible and has a nice lingering aftertaste.

Five Brothers was often rolled up into cigarettes in the old days. It can be used for both pipes and RYO.
The best pipe to use for FB in my opinion is a cob, preferably a small cob. I like it in the Pony Express. I like it best when I just wake up for that quick smoke to get me started in the morning.
Its a great tobacco, and I am glad to see that you seem to be doing well.

Embarcadero about as close to the original Condor as you can get. It smells to high hell tin dated 2009.

C&D Briar Fox in a Rossi Vittoria Author. Every time I smoke this pipe I want to type Savinelli because it looks, feels, and smokes just like a Sav. As does my other Rossi pipe; I own two of them. I would recommend this Rossi brand. Great pipes. Further, Briar Fox is a nice Burley/Virginia-forward blend which burns well, smokes smooth, and is a very pleasant smoke for any time of the day. If you don't have this krumble kake yet, I recommend. ![](https://i.ibb.co/Zfb1snb/160412123428-marine-iguana-1-super-169.jpg) Photographed: Marine iguana out for his daily swim. Hi there, I currently have eight 314 Peterson System Standard pipes all in different finishes and all P lips and old pipes. I have a lot of other pipes but the 314 is my favourite and the one I always seem to grab. They clench very well, hang nicely, smoke great and nice length of smoke. I highly recommend them. Kind regards Gig

Borkum Riff Bourbon Whiskey. Borkum Riff is widely vilified. Do you like its current iteration, Sid?
I have divided my tobacco [and pipes] into categories, one of which is Rum-Whiskey. This particular tobacco is not something special but there are days that i want to experience this taste of 'alcohol'. So that's where i smoke it.

Morning Folks. This morning's pipe is very special to me, it's marked " Peterson System Star" and to the left " made in the republic of Ireland " over XL301. It came to me from the widow of a very good friend ,upon his passing, and sits in a place of respect in my display case. Pipes aren't meant to sit, they're meant to be smoked, so this morning I did a dust and clean on this old boy and filled him with a 3 to 1 mixture of Amphora SR Black Cavendish ,and PS Vanilla Cream...I'm not seeking to improve these blends, they're fine, I just need a way to use up the vanilla cream, and I think I've found it; I'm hardly a fourth down in the bowl and the flavor is singing. A good cup of coffee pairs with this , but it'll take another cup to follow me to the bottom of this guy!
