recently got computer back. After ridding inbox of near 1000 probable junk e-messages, to be Schwan #515 cod bake, #769 mix vegs nuke. Probably store brand tea & cookies later for company during Jeopardy

Chicken and biscuits from Popeyes, onion rings and cagun rice too...I'll be asleep shortly. Dang! I love Popeye's. Naturally, there is not one for hundreds of miles in any direction. Why would there be? These damn companies will not open stores in New Mexico. I do not know why. Just the way it is. Popeye's Bojangles, Carl's Jr., Pollo Loco, In-And-Out Burger, and a host of others |

He has been crying all afternoon for his treat. All I have it a couple of old carrots. That will have to work. Never enough apples on hand. |

That is what comes from living in a population center. You know what else comes with living in a population center? Too damned many people! I can't agree more with ya on that Ron but, I'd give anything for a Popeye's chicken place within 5 miles of me. The only dadburn thing we have here is in Grand Saline, its a Sonic and there food I wouldn't feed to a dog, even though it tastes like dog food.

Simmering a large pot of tomato meat sauce made with old beef stew and stock. Then some rigatoni made from chickpea flour. Fresh grated Italian made Parmesan. Reducing nicely. I am optimistic.

I am not crazy about this chickpea flour pasta. Just not the same as durum wheat or whole wheat. I am going back to what I know. Carbs or no carbs, gosh darn it.

Things like kale and chickpea flour are worse than death. Of course if you don't enjoy what you eat or if it's work to eat maybe that is a good thing. Kale, in small doses and raw is not too bad. Cooked, it is a kind of a green death. It lacks the flavor of Collard Greens. Chickpea Flour pasta, so far, just does not have the right texture. Maybe I cook it too long? It took me a while to like dense whole wheat spaghetti but then I took to it. |
