Salami and cheese sandwich. Had to move the wife's computer 2 feet to the right. The self tangling cables turned it into an hours job plus a break. π©

Chicken stuffed with pan sausage and rice when I get ready to press the start button on the oven. Chicken and pork grease makes for good rice.

More of my mixed bean and vegetable beef soup into which I added a cup of Mississippi grown Basmati Rice. It dissolved into creamy wonderfulness I have not had before. I am sold on rice from Mississippi.

Supper was 1/2 of a pork chop and a few tablespoons of twice cooked potato. I inadvertently left the other half of that 1 1/4 inch thick charcoal grilled chop on the table overnight. This morning these is nothing left but the T-Bone. This is what happens when four feral kittens roam the house at night along with the three indoor kitties. LOL!

Every year ,on this day, my wife and her older sister get together here to make a dozen of the best fruitcake I've ever tasted. This cake has twice the nuts and half the fruit of the "normal" fruitcake, and once cooled ,they are wrapped in cheese-cloth, and soaked in white cream sherry till Christmas... Tonight the evening meal ,by high demand, will be my cream chipped beef over hot biscuits, served with hard boiled eggs and lots of hot coffee...you all are invited, bring your own biscuits!

A can of Goya Brand Black Bean soup. Salty! So, low sodium chicken broth added and then pureed partly.
An open face sandwich of thick sliced Boar's Head brand Head Cheese on sourdough whole wheat bread.
That is enough sodium to preserve me into next year.

Cabbage and home made dumpling soup in chicken stock.
My dumplings.... flour, egg and a little water. Over worked. They are suitable for loading on top of 70 to n90 grains of fffg powder. I guarantee a bison kill at 150 yards.
