Gonna make cheeseburgers in the iron skillet shortly with some chips and Dt Pepper. Is it just me or have you noticed how well Dr. Pepper pairs well with everything: cigars, pipes, food? It’s always been my go-to when smoking for many years when I’m craving something sweet with my smoke. Coffee and Dr Pepper. If the left 'un dont get ya', then the right one will. |

Made a large new pot of Red Lentil Soup with cabbage, Swiss Chard, carrots, in home made chicken stock.
Had to go into town. Stopped by the Chinese for take out. Shrimp Lo Mein and Pork Egg Rolls. Good, too.

Finishing off my wife’s home made chilli with gigantic meatballs. A large glass of Sapporo Japanese beer to wash it down. Sapporo is my brand of Japanese Beer. Not as good as Chang Beer from Thailand but prettty good. There dark beer is excellent. |

Stopped by a Chick-fil-A while out hunting for reloading supplies. Love their chicken sandwiches. Never seen one. Never even seen a Chick-Fil-A restaurant. I guess they are not in New Mexico? I hear Popeyes makes a nice chicken sandwich. Never seen one of them. They also are not in this state. Ditto Pollo Loco. I hate how these corporation ignore parts of the country. |

When I buy canned chili I get the no beans wolf brand. It’s my favorite so far. However a friend of the family makes a great chili with beans I enjoy.
