Baked ham with home made sweet mustard sauce, oven roasted potatoes and sauteed sweet corn. Washed it down with a Sam Winter Ale. Life is good.
Damn man, good looking meal!

Tonight was just a simple salad of arugula, spinach and lettuce. Made a homemade dressing of low fat Mayo, Dijon mustard, black dirt garlic from the Hudson valley, white wine, salt and pepper. A few garlic croutons on top and a glass of Sauvignon blanc.

A pot of Yorkshire red Label tea. Greedily inhaling steaming mug with milk and sugar. Rainy and dark morning.

Cooked up some shackshuka this morning. I grew up with the traditional Italian version -- eggs in purgatory -- but I love the Mediterranean flavors of shackshuka, so I tend to make it this way.

Two cups of my lentil vegetable soup. Very satisfying.Chicken and ham hanks went into the prep so it plenty meaty.

I might heat up some of the duck I smoked on the Weber last Monday. I have been saving it as an ingredient in other stuff like Duck Fried Rice. Or for the turkey stuffing I will not be having this year.

An iron pan seared Ribeye of which only a part was eaten. A large baked potato with sour cream and chopped chives and a slice of bread with butter. It seems all I really want are carbs. The Brussels Sprouts and carrots are untouched in their pan.
