Just finished my weekly lunch with mom. She wanted sushi. What mom wants is what mom gets.

Do raise your own lambs? The wife wants a couple of pygmy goats for the yard. I said only if we can eat them. I have. I am currently down to one ewe I rasied from a lamb. I have wanted to have her bred for years but it is difficult to find someone with a ram who will cooperate. I probably should buy a ram. More mouths to feed!! I would not recommend Pygmy goats. They are predator bait. I suggest a few Boar Goats. Smallish African meat goats. Easy to deal with. Get a mama with one or two kids or buy all the kids from a mama goat. They work better together that way and are easier to handle. I am sure you have someone in your area who raises Boar Goats. My wife has had goats and knows what she wants. Are you talking about the small African milk goats?

A McRib. I know it’s just a fast food pressed pork patty. But I always look forward to eating at least one of the damn things whenever they come out.

Joe's Special using locally raised Hamburger.
I forgot how good and comparatively healthy that is. Had fresh spinach on hand. Best using fresh. My old mother used to make it with canned spinach in the 1950s. Not bad, nor is frozen but fresh is best.

Cabrito is good stuff and the goats don't compete for grass like sheep and cows. They also don't ruin good pasture land like sheep and horses. Best of all goats are fun to watch.

I don't know where you get your information, but the Big Bend area was prairie covered with grass before the sheep over grazed it. Now it just a gravel parking lot with mountains.

So what you are saying is sheep overgrazed the Big Bend area and not goats why does that sound familiar. I am getting you a speak and spell with a goat and sheep on it for Christmas.

next up, Schwan #481 (3) toaster pancakes, one cycle. Add usuals & nuke to plateful of mess. Add k-cup cocoa & all to smoking room desk, eat & continue with the papers. There are 4 Schwan "regulars" I rotate, xcept for Sunday brunch. Plenty of variety to suit me

The wife wants to go to lunch and I simply don't care. I am busy drinking coffee and taking my meds and shots. Flemings cancelled our xmas reservations so now we are thinking about going to Mortons Grill that's like Chili's with better lighting. She got upset when I told her we had soup and good cheese to make sandwiches and that would make me just as happy. So I am going to clean up and when we get in the truck and ask her what she wants …………… Why cant we just go get a McRib and call it good.

Medium Schlotskys on rye. 😋 You have a Schlotsky's in your shtetl? We had one in Toad. Lasted about one year before closing. A franchise operator cannot just hire a bunch of teenage girls and expect them to know anything about making a sandwich. This was the same guy who lost the Denny's franchise here for similar reasons. Anyway. When Scholtshy' works, right it is good.
