Awesome, it would be interesting to hear your thoughts on it. Got the Ninja 5 in 1 counter top cooking machine today - Grill, air fry, bake, roast ..... Cooked chicken strips and veggie-tots for lunch just to try it out. Worked fine on the "air fry" mode. I overcooked them a bit, but that was my fault. For dinner I "grilled" a steak and a hamburger for 10 minutes at 500⁰F. Turned the steak at ~4 minutes to get grill marks on both sides - but the instructions say flipping the steak is not necessary. Decided it was done at ~8 minutes. The hamburger was done at ~9 minutes - including melting cheese on it. The steak was excellent! My wife says the hamburger was too! I have her trained, don't I? She eats hamburger while I eat steak. AND she drank water while I drank wine. (Actually she doesn't like steak or wine. Oh well, more for me.) I love this machine. The potato wedges were cooked in my old air fryer. So much for my diet! Odd that the steak looks small in the picture, but it wasn't. There was plenty of it.

That looks great Gandalf. Far superior to my can of chicken soup I had tonight, lol.

It's only 9:00am out here, but I'm making hamburgers - nice grass-fed burger and potato buns. Maybe some jalapenos, but that's it.
I'm a grown man now, so I can eat hamburgers and drink beer for breakfast. I might even have a hot dog if I'm still hungry.

Having sausage and omelet for lunch. A glass of milk will be finished with my pipe afterwards.

Last of the Chicken Supreme and mashed potatoes. Sautéed spinach. Too rich, too much butter, cream. chicken fat, wine. Wonderful dish but I need to hibernate for the rest of the Winter.

Took a little "road trip" today to a place called Allerton Park about 25 miles away. Grabbed Subway sandwiches on the way and had a picnic lunch (in the car). Then took the puppy for a walk. Too cold to walk far.
Nice to get out of the house and go somewhere.
We picnic there a couple of times each summer. Bought a picnic basket just for that purpose. There are some big open grassy rolling hills there. When the kids were younger, we'd go there. Spread out a blanket for a picnic, then fly kites.

Worth a stop if I get that way. Do they offer tours of the Allerton Mansion?

We did go there a couple of years ago at night for a Christmas event. Wandered through the mansion on our own. Many local crafters were set up in various rooms, selling Christmas stuff.

We love to tour old mansions. It started with Bayou Bend in Houston. Last was the Riordan Mansion in Flagstaff.

Haribo Goldbaren Gummi Bears from Germany, better than Haribo from America. Totally agree Charlie! I also found the Cadbury bars in the UK taste better too! Much lighter, taste wise, and “fluffier.”
