Let me know, I can arrange another package. Any level of heat. If you order them, you might have to pay import duties and sign Texas Customs Waivers and swear a loyalty oath. The Eyes of Texas are upon You!!!!

Spinach omelet, two egger. With Tillamook White Cheddar. A little disappointing bland after the excellent Extra Sharp Vermont Cheddar I found at Smith's (Kroeger) Supermarket, their house brand.

Wife just baked her first batch of scones. We'll have some with tea in a little while. They appear to be appropriately flakey. Let us know how they came out. Big Scone fan here.

We like them since the Ireland trip in 84. I used to bake them them from scratch, then I bought a great mix from World Market. This is a Kroger mix that called for heavy cream.

Breaking into the Christmas gingerbread cookies my wife made earlier today. My girl cousin sent me some gingerbread cookies. She is in her mid 60s now. So, I suppose "Girl Cousin" is no longer appropriate. Sorry Little Lisa. You will always be about ten to me. Anyway, I spent most of my life avoiding gingerbread as something to be spit out and mouth rinsed with a glass of Guinness Stout. Recently, she sent me a load and, goodness, they are great cookies!!!!! Lo and Behold!!!!1

tonight, it looks like reheated roast pork with left over mashed potatoes and carrots. I have a pot of stock on the boil- chicken bones, duck and turkey. That will make a good gravy. Gravy.... as if I am not fat enough already. More gravy.

This evening it was...Spaghetti,and Meat Sauce You know, when all else fails. When it looks like the end is nigh. Spaghetti and a meat sauce has restored my belief in a better world more than anything else I can think of just now.

Having fun with the new Ninja countertop cooker. Used the "Bake" feature tonight. Chicken breast stuffed with parmesan cheese, artichokes, olives. 20 minutes at 400⁰F. Tossed the extra artichokes and olives in oil, then bread crumbs. Sprinkled with parmesan cheese and garlic powder - then broiled. Cooked some veggie-tots in the old air fryer.

When I don't feel like a "real" meal I often conjure up some kind of tasty monstrosity that can substitute. This is one of my Twelve Bite Suppers. Starts with those cute little round tortilla chips. Crisp grilled pepperoni slices. Squares of cheddar, altho pepper cheese works as well— depends on what I have handy. Slices of bread-and-butter pickles. And in this case topped with cashew halves. At other times I use black olives or sliced jalapeños. Once assembled I pop the plate into the MW just long enough to melt the cheese and... voilá, c'est finis! Pretty tasty, helped along with a glass of red, even if not nutritionist approved...
