I ordered a whole Tennessee Country Ham in on my position. Air lift should occur next week in time for a New Year's Dinner of Ham and Beans. That is the best thing about New Years! Slices will be distributed to the worthy here about. that sounds delicious as well.
Love ham as much as the Dad from "Christmas Story" loves turkey. Not much a fan of peas though... so I'll just take the ham.

Marie Callender's meals to share Steak and Roasted Potatoes same as the smaller dinner and on clearance for 2.60. Hey twelve minutes to dinner is hard to beat.

walks, WAYS, wife's needs (for now)done. Next after bringing in the recycle box, Schwan #481 (3) toaster pancakes, one cycle, usual adds & nuke to plateful of mess. That + k-cup cocoa, all to smoking room desk, eat & continue with the papers.
Side note: Enjoying the pics of food on plate, most "pretty" looking. Nothing I make looks pretty, hence the "plateful of mess" works fine. Not into visual thing far as food goes. (good thing that we don't have a "working" camera)!

A real smokehouse product with good hardwoods. I will make up packs of slices for people as a New Year's gift. |

we had a channa corn with dinner last night 🤪! Having tuna melts for dinner tonight. A garden salad as well as some sqash. I will definitely be drinking milk, to be finished with my evening pipe. |

Breakfast was two locally made with red chile and pork. A fried egg topped them.
Lunch was a bowl of my lentil & leak soup and wing and leg off of that supermarket rotisserie pigeon I brought home yesterday.
I am making matzo ball dumplings tonight to go with the pigeon and in the soup stock I have made. I bought a box of mix for $1 on sale,

Due to COVID this year we decided on Chinese for our early Christmas dinner with my in-laws. Having said that, we’re also expecting a small ham, mashed potatoes, gravy and greens too in keeping with the Christmas spirit.

A grilled ground mulie steak, steamed leek medallions with black olives and pesto, toasted and buttered corn tortillas, and a glass or two of bastard red.

Heated up an old Salisbury Steak and made a Burger out of it, toasted bun and cheese with sliced onion. No relish and needed it! Good breakfast!

as per earlier in WAYS thread, after walks was Schwan #481 (3) toaster pancakes, one cycle. Usual "fixings" & nuke to plateful of mess. Managed to read one of the papers afterwards. Kinda hectic here as every move wifie makes....very slow. Eat well all

Had a lean chicken burger topped with Vermont extra sharp white cheddar, carmelized onions and ghost pepper BBQ sauce on a whole wheat ciabatta roll. Damn tasty

after last things mentioned in WAYS finished, to be Schwan #404 chicken pieces bake, #769 mix veggies nuke, all to TV & either watch f.ballor 6pm news. Store brand tea & cookies later during Jeopardy.

Home made burgers and dad's greasy fries. Coke classic to drink. Christmas cookies for dessert. Soon Christmas Vacation then it's a wonderful life.
Tonight:
Santa will have cookies and milk. Reindeer will have carrots. Georgian cream will be in the air.

Christmas 1971 I spent at Taco Bell. Me and a pal had $2 between us for Christmas Dinner. The asshat we worked for never showed up to pay us on Christmas Eve. Fortunately, $2 was enough back then. Not a feast but enough. |
