Bean burritos underway. May enjoy a chiminea fire and a wee dram with a pipe afterwords. I will have to be careful and not sit too close to the flames. 💨

Proably more boiled beef with cabbage, potatoes and carrots. The good news is a large bottle of Guinness Stout was added to the old corned beef brine. It is better than it sounds.

Granny's Tamales, chicken and spinach variety with chili and cheese on top. Here in New Mexico and across the border in southern Colorado, it is a common practice to buy homemade tamales from old ladies sold out of the back of their cars. No one gives a thought to food safety or sanitation. Man, those old gals know their business and if you are lucky enough to meet up with them, go for it!!!!

We would always buy the tamales from the women who came to the shops in the day. Granny's is a local business with 4 locations that has all the proper paperwork. They are available and good.

Sucks on the road.
No restaurants, I walked into a Jack OnThe Box and the restrooms are closed to the public, so I was unable to wash my hands... “The Bomb” gas station red Chile burrito for dinner in the hotel microwave.
A cooler box and my 12 volt oven are traveling with me next week... I have a 3,500 watt inverter in my trailer, maybe a crock pot.

You probably have seen those pots which are attached to an exhaust manifold or engine block and use the engine heat to cook? Developed by the NVA truck drivers during the VN War.
