Whipped up a batch of Naan to last for the next few days. Fast, easy and tasty. Half whole wheat, half biscuit sopapilla flour. Grilled in a iron skillet since no tandoori oven was immediately available.

Good luck at the Dentist, Ed.
Starting the day with a pot of Yorkshire Red Label Black Tea with milk and sugar. A couple of last night's Naan, plain and one with a schmeer of Cream Cheese and topped with a small piece of smoked salmon. A little of that goes a long way for me.

I could stand more smoked salmon in my life. Trouble is, expensive to purchase. So, I might have to buy a wild filet and smoke my own on the Weber. It is probably better to cold smoke salmon but a Weber Kettle is what I have. Has anyone tried it? If so, which wood for smoke dost thou prefer? I have some Hickory chunks for the base coals.

Shweetie scrambled some hashed potatoes with eggs and cheese this morning, and I wrapped them in 3 flour tortilla shells. Good stuff.

After I had some smoked salmon from my friend and co-worker who had a home smokehouse in Michigan, and the stuff I had at Eagons in Waterford, IE, I can't find any that tastes right here. Never eat the best. It spoils you for the regular stuff.

That sucks. It has been several years, but my wife asked the local store manager about ordering: The manager quoted us a price for a case and the wife split it with our daughters..and he didn't hose them... he used to order a sixpack of German beer once a week for my neighbor also....but I am not sure if that would happen now. I thought I was just about the only one in the world with a penchant for Crunchy Corn Bran. That stuff is fantastic. I shouldn't ear it, cuz sugar/carbs, but it IS one of my favorites. I just googled it and my local Target has it!

Meatloaf made with a can of Campbells cream of mushroom soup is pretty hard to beat. Meatloaf using Kelloggs frosted flakes instead of crackers or breadcrumbs. Meatloaf is only bound by ones imagination. I started using the CoM soup a few years ago. I also started using Pepperidge Farm blue bag stuffing for the binder. BEST idea I'd ever had in meatloaf making. A packet of onion soup, one small shredded carrot, and a minced roasted pepper. Two eggs, and some beef or chicken broth.

after doing WAYS, set out evening/next morning pills. Then Zweigle's white dawg on indoor GeoForman grill, 12mins at 300f. Usual side of Mussleman's smooth applesauce. Later during Jeopardy, store brand tea & finish off frozen Edwards brand chocolate pie. (Wifie has other dessert choices)

Shweetie is off running errands and I'm headed out the door, so I opened a can of spaghetti o's and buttered a couple of slices of bread. Still a favorite of mine from when I was a little kid staying with my Mamaw in the hills of Kentucky. It seems she always had them on hand.

The high light of todays culinary delights was a small bag of Lays Kettle Sea Salt and Black Pepper chips. Just two or three chips at a time and the black pepper really stays on the palate. Other tidbits today included BoarsHead bread and butter pickles and some cucumber slices in a vinegar sour cream marinade.

A can of Wolf chili probably named Wolf cause it looks like dog food. Sliced up some onion and added ketchup and the last of the good Colby. Served with a sleeve of Club crackers and a iced coffee. I also added enough Tabasco Green to kill a small camel.

Most of my lunches come from a can and I am just as happy with a can of tuna, salmon, chili, beans, soup as a pig in a mudhole. Of course I keep stuff on hand to dress up the contents of the cans a bit. Dinner is always better with fresh veggies and good cuts of meat all cooked for two as we have no room for leftovers in our 6cuft fridge.

I move large items onto the enclosed back porch which is more like a walk-in freezer. I have to hang it though as Mr. Cooney and company often romp in there.
