I at a little over a half rack of the falling-off-the-bone ribs. Not much room for vegetables. ๐ That is a problem I understand. Vegetables remain an annoying necessity.

A ouple of cups of my bean soup. Then, I roasted beef ribs for the dog to gnaw on. I get the first pass with barbecue sauce. The dog gets the rest. Oh, does that make her happy!

Leftover bar-b-qs on potato rolls and the last of a soup I made over the weekend, and some fresh made cole slaw...the favorite sister-in-law joined us for supper ,and later we had the wife's killer banana pudding and a fresh pot of coffee...I just knocked off another tiny bowl of the pudding; will-power is in short supply around here!

A half box of Good and Plenty. I love Good and Plenty. I separate them by color then alternate back and forth. Tuna fish for breakfast.

Contemplating firing up the Weber Kettle. I have a thin London Broil on hand. I recall when these were great slabs of beef. Not anymore. Weeny little things, just slap it on a split loaf of French or Italian bread.

Yeah. London Broil, a thin one, dry rubbed, charcoal grilled on the Weber Kettle. Medium Rare. With Neeps and Tatties. Brussels Sprouts in garlic butter.
A great meal, plenty left over for a few days.

I could have traded you for a tough sirloin with cast iron toasted mixed veggies. Oh and I also eat M@M by color because I can taste the different colors. It is always best to segregate colored candies.

Time to whip up more Naan. Smeared with Cream Cheese and Jam, pretty good in the morning. This time, barley flour, biscuit flour, and whole wheat with kefir and olive oil.

Some kind of spiral hand made pasta from Italy in a fancy bag with marinara and meatballs. Salad with olives, feta, tomatoes, cucumbers, celery, sunflower seeds and dried cranberries topped with bleu cheese dressing. Cooking my poor little fingers to the bone I tell you!

Love liver and onions but I can't see it for breakfast, but I would try it. Breakfast this morning is a El Monteray Breakfast burrito and coffee.

^^^^ Both of those sound great! I was thinking about a meat pie today.
Bread dough rising. One third Whole Wheat, 2/3s unbleached Bread Flour. Kefir, egg, water, rolled oats. Roll it out and fold it. Into a bread pan with a butter topping. Should be good. I love baking my own bead. I also enjoy eating that made by others. Bread is something I cannot give up.

My hats off to you John as I am not a baker and alas now can only enjoy baked goods in small quantities. Leftover stringy brisket stew meat turned into a street taco. If I was feeling better today I could have made some kick A enchiladas.

If I was feeling better today I could have made some kick A enchiladas. I should probably lay off the carbs as well. I just cannot so I try to cut down some. Tonight was more of that London Broil from a couple nights ago with neeps and tatties and an artichoke. The first I have eaten in years.

Turkey salad, made from the brest of a huge bird we baked a two days ago , herbs and a tiny bit of onion, plus Hellmans and ranch dressing...tasty on white with tomato. as I made the salad, a crock pot reduced the leg quarters down ,so I could strip the meat off...tomarrow I'll make gravy with the stock, add the dark meat ,and have that over mashed potatoes with some sort of veggies. Never tried this before ,but I hate to waste the drumsticks, and nobody here likes em.

Little bastards. They are lucky they are eating at all!! No, seriously, I always give it up for the children. What you doing sounds great.

The dogs would love em, but "she who know all " would beat me with a stick! The buttermilk ranch makes for a heck of a turkey salad...my wife and he sister started talking about the salad when the bird was still thawing out. We'll all have feathers before the leftovers are gone!

Shweetie made baked potatoes with all the fixins for lunch today. Not a regular favorite of mine, but it was pretty good.
