I just got back from voting. I live in a rabidly blue state, so it was basically just a stubborn exercise of my rights and a thumb in the eye of .... well, anyhow. I did it. Im gonna drink coffee and have a cigar now. Good for you! I live in Illinois. It's almost the same here. But I vote every time anyway.

We've been mailing ballots in Washington for years, so our family voting was done the end of last week. All I'm doing now is waiting to see if the guard gets deployed when people don't like the outcome...thankfully I'm too old and too senior to be stuck on the line with all the young kids.

A long day of piok ups honking horns and waving flags for the orange one. The polling place is one mile north. On a day trip to Bryan Tx I did see a Touchy Joe sign or three. I did take some older folks to vote a few weeks back and they rolled the machine out to the truck.

Wouldn't it be nice if people could discuss their political differences and appreciate each others point of view? Never gonna happen with the media stirring things up on both sides. Oh I dunno; If people get back to personal accountability and more civil adult behavior we could see it. Oh yea, I forgot who we are as a race..

Voted this morning. Four Sheriff's Deputies at the Polling place which is the local Catholic Church Hall. I will refrain from describing the circumstances. Situation corrected and I was able to vote.

Take your pill and stop eating DQ three days a week. You know where to send the copay for the visit.

Take your pill and stop eating DQ three days a week. You know where to send the copay for the visit. Heart rate and BP is down. Took a BP pill, smoked "something", took 2 clonazapam, ate a handful of gummy bears from California. Glad I'm not reloading ammo tonight.

Wife and I were supposed to drive up into the mountains today. She refuses to leave while the election is undecided. I said "it's going to be a while." She doesn't care. I said "ok, if you're going to watch tv all day, I'm going to smoke all day." She said " fine, as long as you do it outside". Like the election, I'm not sure if I won or lost that one.

These states that are slow to turn in election results are doing so for a reason.
We have a front seat view to the corruption of the process.

Based on trends I get 268/268. Pelosi decides. If T. keeps PA, MI, GA, and AK, but flips NC from B. (who keeps NV and WI), he wins. Ishould check the odds at Bad Blokes. (A betting outfit in Ireland.)

On the bright side, the new gas firepit I installed in the back yard on Sunday seems to be working just great. Comfy chair, warm blanket, cold beverage, and side table with the necessary smoking articles...so far, so good.

We’re still in a weird “false summer” here in the Sandhills. 83° today and sunny. When the hammer falls I fear it will fall hard.

Well, I guess we cancelled each other out! I live in a rabidly red state but persist in voting nonetheless. Here is to thumbs in the eyes! And a good smoke, of course. This is how it should be. A couple of gentlemen with different views, free to vote peacefully according to their own conscience, and still raise a friendly glass and smoke to each other. Hoss, this cigar's for you. 😊 That’s the ticket. What unites is is stronger than what divides us. Raising my whisky to you my friend!

3rd night in Albuquerque, what was projected as a 3 Day run is turning into 4 1/2.
The retailer forgot to tell us that they were closing all the stores at noon yesterday, so the employees could vote.
That really screwed thing up.
