Been too busy to patch for a while, but all is well and my boy is growing strong. I’m settling in well being a dad. Got some nice compliments from my neighbors, which is comforting.
Been getting the pipes in regularly, and enjoying every one.
My neighbor, that I gave a cob and tobacco to, is very much enjoying it. He’s tried about four or five different tobaccos from my stash, and is ready to place an order. 🤠 looks like another piper in the ranks! Maybe I can get him to the patch so he can go down this 🐇 🕳 . One thing at a time.
I hope you all are well and happy! If not, I hope you get that way.

Spent all night futzing with the heater. It will come on if I turn it off and back on, then it won't come back on after it goes off.

I quit watching cable TV some time ago and I purge the mail box without looking. Election insanity! I've had to resort to angry responses to texts to get them to quit texting me. Only one of at least 30 political texts in the last week was even addressed to me, apparently I' Charmian, Charles, Larry Belinda, Melissa, Bob, and who knows what else.. I keep texting the usual stop message, and they keep re-adding my number under someone else's name. I resorted to colorful language and such the last few times. Irony of Ironies! As I type this I got a text from Leyan asking Xzarion if he (she?) has voted yet... |

if TV is on, there's a little pop up upper left corner, shows "caller ID". If same shows a whole bunch of numbers or something close to "800 service",goes unanswered. Landline is set for 5 rings. As to the cell phone, a new "flipper" & stays in carry case until need to be used due to power failure. I do remember to leave on charger once a week. So much for callers who do not properly identify themselves

Woke up to another nippy morning...got a couple pipes loaded up and ready to smoke...may have to get electric blanket out to be able to sit on the porch and smoke. So glad the election is almost over...really tired of all the phone calls and text messages supporting morons.

34 degrees F this morning, supposed to be 80 this afternoon. I think I'll smoke this afternoon. I voted three weeks ago, so I don't have to worry about lines or harassment or poll watchers or any of that other stuff. I'm guessing, in my small town, there won't be much of that stuff going on.

It worked while they were here, but it was warm. This old house loses heat like a tent and it wouldn't come on again last night. We had 3 blankets pulled over our heads. I just got back from voting. I live in a rabidly blue state, so it was basically just a stubborn exercise of my rights and a thumb in the eye of .... well, anyhow. I did it. Im gonna drink coffee and have a cigar now.

I just got back from voting. I live in a rabidly blue state, so it was basically just a stubborn exercise of my rights and a thumb in the eye of .... well, anyhow. I did it. Im gonna drink coffee and have a cigar now. Well, I guess we cancelled each other out! I live in a rabidly red state but persist in voting nonetheless. Here is to thumbs in the eyes! And a good smoke, of course. |
