Ok after making the beef ribs for slow smoking about one chicken, maybe four game hens. For sure could not do a full blown turkey. The handles on the food grate are the best as i had to add charcoal about four times in five hours. I also think i will make a finer charcoal grate with some expanded metal to use with lump style charcoal that comes in all sizes. I believe with a stone one could make a proper pizza like Andre across the big pond. You can get an adapter for it that turns it into a pizza oven, but maybe with the lid down it would do the same thing. My fear is that all the heat escapes when you open the lid to put the pizza on the stone, then the base is burnt while the top hasn't cooked because the heat's all gone. Not sure though. The adapter has vents on it so that you put the coals at the back and the heat is directed over the top of the pizza... |

Thanks for the well wishes on my sobriety. I would have went out last night to celebrate but the bars are all closed.  (Just kidding) I'll take that soda Sean and fill it up with ice after I clean the ice machine of course. Trying to figure out what to do today. No jobs to do and nothing going on. |

I'm going to try to do the wiring for the shop today. If the wife starts working from home I will head to the shooting range. If the roads are deserted I will take the trike out for a spin. Maybe get me a mask of the red death and visit Sean. 🤬👺🙃

Canadian's here. If the virus did one thing, it deterred customs from checking my parcels: third US package in a row going straight to the post office. I still got some more post incoming so I will hold off on getting it so I can pick up everything in one go.
Nice and sunny outside today so I took a small poker with me outside on a walk. Streets are mostly empty and everyone whom I met had a mask on.

Sometimes I will be handling a gun, rotating magazines or something, and the wife will say, "I haven't seen that one before". I'll say, "I've had it for years", and I won't be lying. They can sleep in the safe for a long time.

Thank you covid-19. Not only do I now have company provided internet at home, I am a work from home accountant for at least the next two weeks.

I survived. Picked up a couple of boxes of .45-70 hunting ammo they had for a good price, and a couple more boxes of .45acp. The bag was small enough to slip into the house under my coat...but she still saw it. But after the $1,100.00 for the custom .44, I guess the $100.00 of ammo didnt seem so bad. She kissed me anyhow.  |

I've heard that some STATES are sold out of ammo and getting low on guns. I can only imagine if we had an EMP event, or people start coming out of their graves.
I am pretty sure that the Apocalypse will be started by idiots.
