I get how these things happen.
Years ago, while in Ireland, I was visiting Galway. Going into an eatery, I put my pipe in my pocket. Later, while walking about the town, I remarked to my companions how surprised I was that so many people here burn rags. The smell of smoke and burning was all about the town. Only later did I find the large smoldering hole in the pocket of my jacket.

Wife says we are stocked pretty good, but she says we need more meat to put us over the top. I looked at a Supermarket away from traffic, expensive but low volume on customers. She put her gloves, mask, and Safety glasses, if she catches it I’m gonna give her a big kiss and go by the wayside with her.

Shweetie is out volunteering, riding a bus from the school delivering school lunches to kids at home in quarantine from School. Im proud of her, but I worry a little too.
When she gets back, we're gonna try to go slip in to town and re-stock a little as well. I think Im gonna mount my auxiliary fuel tank back on the bed of my truck this morning too. Take advantage of dropping fuel prices...if I run across any.

Another beautiful day in SE Texas. Took the dog out and she got into the middle of a couple of squirrels playing chase. The just ignored her. She was so confused.

Finally got something done around here without interruptions, went to the post office, went and got ice tea, got a pipe done, mowed the lawn (what I have) and now I'll officially eat and watch a bit of TV and then back to the shop to stamp and polish the pipe for ready to post. I love it when things just fall into place. Now all that has to be done is laundry and then I can sit on my duff and think about the next pipe to do.

I filled the pickup and work van for $1.03 at Sams Club today. Been about twenty years since I've got that cheap.

Just got back from town. Diesel was 2.78, about a .15 cent drop. I filled up anyway. I was planning on sitting out in the sun this afternoon and enjoying my last Padron. It lookslike the Padron is safe for a little while longer...

Dewayne, your wife is to be big time commended for her generosity and loving care shown to those students that she delivered food to.
Most people are too self-centered and care little for others.
Went to Wally world to pick up some needed supplies then to Costco for the rest..we are set for Covid-19 or Hurricane which ever shows it's head.

I went by White Sands Missile range, the winds kicked up the sand from a distance...from the highway, there are large berms obstructing the views as I traveled further south from here. Heading over the pass to drop down into Las Cruces. Dragged my carcass into Thatcher Az. I will be home tomorrow night. The company that I work for has been on the frontlines of the types of issues that we are facing...I was told tonight that I need to be ready to fly out and help if needed anywhere in the western region..11 western states, Alaska and Hawaii...hoping for Hawaii. www.usecology.com/coronavirus

Woke up this morning to 28°, but the sun was out and the wind was not. Would love for it to warm up today. Gotta see what the process is for renewing vehicle tags at this time. Just noticed that the ones on the little car Shweetie is driving expired in February.

Dunno how your state does things though.

Get to head out and repair a walk in cooler today and had one yesterday. It's good to get out and work but is frustrating at the supply house. We're not allowed to retrieve what we need off the shelf and have to have the staff get it. The one kid I end up with doesn't have a clue and has worked there for 12 years. It takes him 7-8 tries to get what I need right.
The other supply house has a bunch of people hanging out at the counter for no reason and won't get out of the way so you can be waited on and maintain social distance. I got into an argument with an idiot about it and it came close to getting physical. I called the company's HQ about them letting people hang out and now they are instituting curbside pick up.
