I hope all is well with everyone today. It's wet and cold here (just like most other days). Struggling with internet so getting my services on YouTube is proving difficult. I don't even think it's broadband demand as opposed to a fault somewhere. Everything was great until BT cut the phone cable down the road. Since then the broadband bas been awful.
First world problems, but in these times internet is kinda essential for many things.
Take care, my piping friends.

It's a clear day and 33°, supposed to hit the mid 40's. Ive got a decent sized yard here at this place, and its starting to get a little shaggy in places. I think I'll probably work on that today. I got a push mower, so maybe it'll help melt off some of this quarantine tallow accumulating around my middle.

Clutch master cylinder has some fluid leaking on my floor board.. blown seal I suppose. I just replaced it last February, it's under warranty, so no charge. I know what I'm doing after work, being a contortionist to work under my dashboard

I know what I'm doing after work, being a contortionist to work under my dashboard Hey!!! At least it is keeping you limber!! Beautiful cool day here in central north Florida...gonna sit on my porch most of the morning to get a break from my back which is kickin' my butt today. Got the shed painted finally. Went to Benjamine-Moore paint store and found several "left over" gallons of outside paint, mixed it all in a 5-gallon bucket and it came out a light grey which is what was put on the shed...cost me under $20.00 for all, if I had gotten a fresh gallon off the shelf it would have cost me $20+ just for one. Great way to save money on painting something that can be any color as long as it covers.

(I saw a Ford Raptor with a wrap on it that was that color and it actually looked pretty cool LOL)

I installed a factory trailer brake controller in my new to me truck. I was twisted so bad that it took me 2 weeks to get straight.

The threats just keep on coming.
The Town of Taos decided to impose a night-time curfew. Not sure how that helps but that is what the Mayor and the town council decided. Naturally, this has been met with howls of despair and anger by many who have posted their discontent on our newspaper's website. This is the usual forum for community discussion. I tend to support the town council and mayor since they were elected to make tough decisions and we ought to support them. Sadly, another hater has emerged posting threats against me and publishing my name, birthdate and social security number as well as fictitious civil judgments. This is libelous activity. Why we have so many hateful, sick, bulling people in this community is beyond me. A couple of weeks ago it was threats of violence, now it is this. What is wrong people? Why can't we have a civil discussion on issues?

I have a pair of rear airbags to install still, but I am waiting to feel a bit better first.

From what I have read it is not a statutory crime to publish someone else's social security number in NM or Federally. It is grounds for a civil suit if it leads to losses related to identity theft. This person seems to have researched the angle.

Just got back from town. Diesel was 2.78, about a .15 cent drop. I filled up anyway. I was planning on sitting out in the sun this afternoon and enjoying my last Padron. It lookslike the Padron is safe for a little while longer... oh wow!

I looked it up. It seems to be state by state thing. The state SSN disclosure laws typically do not define the term “Social Security number” and thus do not specifically address whether the law applies to the use of the entire SSN, or to truncated or redacted numbers. Some states laws, however, include specific language regarding truncated or redacted numbers, even though those laws do not define a “Social Security number.” Some states, like California, have pretty clearly made it illegall. Other states are a bit looser. However, only 25 states have laws at all prohibiting this.

It is a pretty sad state of affairs that publicly stating a persons private information is not a criminal act, it is definitely meant to wreak havoc on a victim, at the very least such a person should be subject to punitive fines payable to the victim.

It will be worse than that for him if I find out who he is.

My morning started with my lovely wife offering to cook me breakfast in bed. While we were discussing this my oldest, our disabled daughter comes in the house from outside hollering "DAD!! I need you!" Since she normally fixates on my wife rather than me I knew something was aims and immediately told her to come in.
As she burst into the room she announces that she got bit by the neighbor dog. Apparently our's and theirs were digging under the fence. When she stuck her hand under the fence trying to block the hole some how, the neighbor dog grabbed her hand. She had a nice tear and puncture in her middle finger.
We played doctor, got it cleaned and dressed, and then decided not to go to the hospital. At least here they tend not to stitch dog bites because of the risk for infection. That and we dont want the neighbor dog to get taken away made us decide not to take her in. We'll manage and take her to her primary care if it becomes an issue.
No I am not reporting it.
These dogs are young and playful. I am fairly certain there was no malice and the dog simply didn't think before grabbing the chew toy that came under the fence. I've been in dog rescue for the better part of 20 years, though not active since 2015, I don't like to see a misunderstanding end in the destroying of an otherwise good animal. (No AZ doesn't usually do that first time but you never know in this county)

Like you, Terry I have been bitten a couple times by adventuring playful dogs in the neighborhood...cleaned it up and went on...I know these dogs have their rabies tags are up to date and have no interest in seeing some poor unfortunate dog go to the pound even for quarantine...a miserable experience for the dogs in question.

We have a family friend that is 36 years old, and has literally professionally rodeo'd since she was a little girl. She is a barrel racer. She can't back a trailer to save her life. She had to get her rig moved, backed up and unhooked over at another friend's barn this morning, but she's not on good terms with her dad at the moment. He usually does that sort of thing for her. So she came here.
I drove 17 miles one way this morning to move a horse trailer 25 yards, back it up and unhook it from the truck. If that had been my wife, or one of my daughters, I would have been mortified. But, a friend is a friend, and she's a really good gal.
We just take our friends as they are, dont we? That's what friendship is.
But I still think is silly.

Today has been project day. The outside facet on the back of the house was leaking so I replace it. Second up was the cleaning of the gas grill and replacements of the burners and covers. Yesterday I power washed the patio and cleaned outdoor furniture. Now I’m pretty tired. Maybe a pipe outside later.
