I just received a package from Jason / Cramptholomew and am blown away! Inside was this beauty of a pipe:  In the next photo, I included the tissue the stem was wrapped in because it was also used to dry my eye.   Jason, thank you so much! Sad to report that there were no new tobacco, pipes or accoutrements received this week. There was this however...  77 Fender American Made Jazz Bass cheers That's not a bad package to get in the mail. I received a pre-1963 Peterson 'Special' the other day. The only information I could find on it was that they were in a 1970's catalog one year, but this one has the nickle faux-hallmarks. The stummel is almost 100% birdseye - just a little wavy grain in part of the front. Maybe that was what made them 'Specials' and also why they had a short run. Unfortunately I can't upload images, don't have a website where I can store them, and the ebay photos are too large to show here. So if interested, use your imagination |

Among other things, I love the natural finish, understated blast and beveled rim. |

Nothing pipe related but a couple of video game related stuff. The soundtrack to hades a game I am really enjoying lately. A couple of plush figures from another game I really liked. doki doki literature club finally finish the set. I was missing two of the four girls. Some stuff from a secret Santa for a video game group I’m on Facebook. And finaly a sample of some energy drink mix as I want something cheaper then healthier then grabbing a redbull or monster at the gas station every-once in awhile. Only pipe stuff I know of is my secret Santa from another board I’m on.

Apparently a Christmas gift for me. A nice package showed up on the doorstep from my boss. A JW Double Black gift basket with some fancy nibblies in it. Included with the basket was a set of Glencairn Whisky glasses and a 5 pack cigar sampler. I guess my boss likes me.

I have wanted one of these since the first time I saw it. It's a copy of a pipe they made in 1858 with an albatross bone stem extension and silver fittings. That was about the time that Peterson was founded and Butz Choquin had been around for over 30 years. |

This is actually not a Scottie. I guess I should have clarified. This is a "new" Merchant Service pipe. Two guys from NY resurrected the brand, and have started producing the shape again to match the old classic.
