Along with my latakia and a pound of Z92 I got a Viking 104 quarter-bent Rhodesian. Right out of the box a very sweet smoking pipe. Very pleased.

Well she certainly puts her style on the Merchant Service. She is a master of the thin shank.
This is actually not a Scottie. I guess I should have clarified. This is a "new" Merchant Service pipe. Two guys from NY resurrected the brand, and have started producing the shape again to match the old classic.
Brian Levine interviewed these guys a little over a year ago, on The Pipes Magazine radio show podcast. Episode 375. it was interesting. and he spoke with one of the gentlemen again this past February episode 387. |

Actually, as I was walking up the driveway to the mailbox, he pulled up and handed me the box. Said that was his third trip to our mailbox today. He kept finding stuff. |

The one that I ordered from my wife is a gift for Christmas that the shipper used FedEx ground, that package took almost 10 days to get to me as it made its circuitous route throughout the Midwest before it went through the southern United States up California finally ended Nevada and was delivered the other day. FedEx is terrible. |
