A glass of Xisto Red, from Portugal by the Quevedo Family. 2019 vintage. Portuguese varietal blend. Overlooked and under appreciated.

A couple of glasses of Apothic Dark, an inexpensive but full bodied dry red blend from California.

Now I'm thinking about a glass of dry red wine.

A large measure of Paddy's. Good for what ails me.

Someday, I hope to find a bottle of Bushmills.
That was the first liquor I drank. Graduation day from High School, 1970. I just turned 18. I marched into a neighborhood liquor store and demanded a bottle of Bushmills in as fierce a tone as I could muster ("Fierce a 40 pounder"). John Nevin and me split that 5th. I was still drunk the next morning.

Jameson Irish. A slightly richer mouth feel for an additional $7. Probably not worth it.

Next time you are at Costco, check out the price on that Scotch...they have the big bottles at an attractive price. Mescal and Fosters.

I have been posting about Paddy's Irish for some time now. You are excused but try to keep up. There will be a test shortly.
