A mug of Mehemet Effendi Turkish Coffee with Demerara Sugar Simple Syrup. I am liking coffee again.

Useless tip (of which I have so many I can easily afford to spare a few!)— Jameson Irish whiskey is pronounced JIM-uh-suhn. (caps indicate emphasis) That’ll be 5¢ please.

Gin and Butters aka "Pink Gin". Not that silly stuff now sold in bottles made with fruit juice.

In last night's glass: a bit of Angel's Envy, then a bit of Writer's Tears Double Oak, then a bit of Redbreast. Particularly enjoyed the first and last.

Brewing coffee. Mine shall be black as black as my hands, after a day in the garden.

I think that I drank the last of my Angels Envy before the move. I bought it before it got expensive. It was really good, but I have a lot of other whiskey. Still, I wouldn't mind a glass right now.

That was my brand when I drank Irish. Although I do not think I met an Irish Whiskey I did not like. Just opened a bottle of Jameson a week or so ago. Hadn't had it in a while. The flavor wasn't what I remembered. Kind of the same except muted/watered down.

Jameson Triple Distilled Irish Whiskey That's just the regular old stuff. I looked at their site and I don't see the special whiskies that I knew. No age statements at all. I can see where if you have been drinking almost any other whiskey that the regular Jameson would taste thin. Heck, you could use it for water in Laphroaig!😁 🤠

I saw it on the shelf and remembered it from the TV series called "The Ranch", starring Sam Elliott. Think I've found my go to sipping whiskey. Added about a table spoon of water to 2 fingers and it really opened up the flavor.

A modest Port from Portugal. 2015 vintage. Nothing fancy. Just the thing with my pain meds. The cold has greatly aggravated my gripe.
