Thanks for posting that photo Charlie. Think I gained five pounds just looking at it! Sure hope you had a pipe to compliment the meal afterwards (not at the restaurant). Cheers brother.đđ

It was spectacular. Fresh pasta makes the boxed stuff seem like sawdust. It's worth the time.
You really need to add a small, reservation-only cafĂ© to your deli/specialty shop. Two or three tables only. Once this log-jam breaks youâd keep it full Iâm sure. Agreed. Fixed menu, changes daily. Small, maybe three or four tables and a counter with stools, open kitchen. That has been very successful in San Francisco. Thinking of "Little Joe's" on Columbus Avenue.

Lazy day, went to BJ's brewhouse earlier had ribs and baked potato. A) We don't have restaurants in Toad which serve anything as good as that. B) None of our restaurants are open for seating. C) I want a refund. D) Looks great, Charlie. I am sure you enjoyed it. Shoot, I enjoyed just looking at it.

My nearest eatery is the Oregon Trail CafĂ©. (Yes, on the Trail.) Used to be open from 6am until... well, until everybody was finished. In Covidiana they still open at 6 but close at 2pm. In deer season they open at 5. Just good, solid country cafĂ© fare with no attempt at fancy. Mornings feature the usual large-table gather of local farmers and ranchers. Since itâs on a âscenic routeâ it also gets a goodly share of outlanders wandering thru, as well as truckers. I go once in a while but have steered clear for the most part. No reason other than personal preference for my own fixins.
BTW, the proximity to the lake puts walleye on the menu almost all the time. A blander and less satisfying fish it would be hard to imagine. Tilapia maybe.

busy earlier with walks, ice-melt down on both porches, wifie needs & a computer "rant" listed in WAYS. Next up, Schwan #717 breakfast bowl with added one sausage link & shred cheddar all nuked. Add k-cup cocoa & all to smoking room desk & continue with the papers
Ed Duncan, Batavia, NY totally lost with the "inner computer" since around '02

Two bowls of my cabbage/potato/chicken soup. I have the Boiling Soup Sweats! You probably need it. How are you feeling? Thanks for asking. Chest is less painfull. Ribs and sternum improving. Lung pain has decreased with deep breathing exercises. I tried to put pressure on the air bubble(s) to exit the lining. O2 still lower than I want. Direction is positive.

I didnât eat the dessert but to my defense, in the 22 years Iâve been with my wife, sheâs never made me a dessert nor do I typically eat it. The meal was blah but it was edible.
