You probably need it. How are you feeling? Thanks for asking. Chest is less painfull. Ribs and sternum improving. Lung pain has decreased with deep breathing exercises. I tried to put pressure on the air bubble(s) to exit the lining. O2 still lower than I want. Direction is positive. Good to hear, John. Keep on trucking, brother. |

adding bests from here & hope positive thoughts to continue. About an hour ago, Schwan #506 ham/cheese nuke omolet with added sausage link & sprinkle 0f x-shart shred cheddar. Add k-cup cocoa, all to smoking room & continue with the papers. All else,as usual,covered in WAYS thread

Tunafish sandwich made with avocado instead of mayonnaise. Yes, that makes the stuff green and grey and kind of weird-looking, but it actually tastes really good and the avocado is supposedly healthier than mayo.
I also added in half a chopped Vidalia onion and a spicy dill pickle spear to give it some punch and texture.
My wife, who is packing up for our impending move, had her back to me. She didn't turn around, and before I even got in the room she said, "Wow! That's some fresh onion!"

Decided today was a good day for one of my quick skillet chilis. In a 10” high-sided skillet, cover the bottom with olive oil. Add half-pound of ground moose (or whatever). Heat with low-medium flame. Add plenty of ground ancho pepper and some garlic salt. When the meat is done add one can of black beans, sliced black olives, small petals of sweet onion, and sliced mushrooms. Sprinkle with cumin. Stir frequently. Add second can of black beans, splash of Angostura bitters, dash of ground coffee, pinch or two of sweetener (sugar or artificial). Let simmer a while. Chow down. Makes four meal-size bowls. Best with tortilla chips.

Sourdough makes the best toast. It's the crack cocaine of toast. It makes the best grilled cheese sandwich too. No doubt. I often toast a couple pieces to eat with a chunk of sharp cheddar. Even since I tried it, I've been going through a couple loaves of Bread of Heaven sourdough every few weeks, and it's all as toast. Toast it up, put a little Kerry Gold on it and some apple jelly. It'll eat. |

Wife’s going to do some turkey burgers in a cast iron pan. I’ll do spicy mustard, banana and Carolina reaper peppers in mine maybe a slice of onion too.

The shortage was first evident at Trader Joes where their excellent DM became unavailable. Other house brands disappeared from inventory. Then Grey Poupon became scarce. Drove a neighbor into the Town of Toad today so he could shop at the market.
He treated me to take-out from the local Chinese. I had Curry Beef from a carton eaten with chopsticks. We sat in the truck cab eating in silence. It was good tasting but this kind of "dining" is depressing as hell.
