My wife made something good last night. She put a pile of feta cheese in the center of an 11"x14" cake pan, then filled in around the cheese with cheery tomatoes - about 1 or 2 tomatoes deep. Then sprinkled some Italian seasonings over it - garlic, basil, parsley ... She baked it while she prepared some penne pasta. When it was done baking, she stirred the cheese and tomatoes together. The tomatoes just fell apart. Poured the mix into the pasta, mixed, served. It's pretty good - if you like feta. We like! |

Roasted Brussel's sprouts coated with olive oil, seasoned with garlic salt,
and leftover penne pasta with a feta cheese/tomato sauce.
Down 15lbs now.

I’ve brought Shweetie to the city for her chiropractic appointment and some grocery shopping. Soon as she gets out of the Dr’s office, we’re heading up the road to Carl Jr’s. It’ll be the No 7 original thickburger with cheese and mayo, fries and a Dr Pepper for me. I’m consistent. 😆
Shweetie will have whatever strikes her fancy at the moment. She’s a woman. They’re like that.

There's a small venison roast in the oven, slow roasted in a cast iron Dutch oven, in a peppercorn/garlic sauce. It sits on a bed of finely chopped onions ,carrots, and celery ,and while the roast rests I'll grind and thicken the contents of the pan into a gravy ,then serve thin slices of venison over garlic mashed potatoes with the gravy...maybe some peas or green bean on the side...hot coffee too.
there's four empty seats at the table; if you can make it, bring something sweet for later!
