A cop-out. Can of Progresso tomato-basil soup with a tin of smoked trout in the bottom, MW’d. Not too bad really. That is one of my favorite canned soups. Another great one is their Italian Wedding Soup.

Schwan #717 breakfast bowl shortly. Add one sausage link & shred cheddar, nuke to plateful of mess. Our grocery store now/then has similar item in Jimmy Dean on sale. Same ingredients as Schwan but a bit smaller. Always have some of both items on hand in back freezer for quickie breakfast. The above + k-cup cocoa to smoking room & continue with the papers. A plateful of mess looks just fine. I eat it, could care less about what it looks like

This low-ox, no sense of smell thing seems like not a positive development, Ron. Keep a close eye on that. that is not something to take lightly. I suggest a large can of beans or chile con carne. Wait a couple of hours. If you cannot sense the results, see a doctor asap.

Got out of bed at 0200 and prepared a large crockpot of 13 bean soup with Swiss Chard and potatoes and my own home made chicken stock which is rich and thick. It will be ready by lunch time. Another megasoup here for the next week.

For lunch my wife tried out her new juicer. Two trial "recipes". 1) 2 Green apples, lemon juice, 3 stalks of celery, 1 cucumber, 1 cup of broccoli 2) 2 Oranges, lemon juice, 2 handfuls of kale, 4 carrots ginger
The 2nd one looked unappetizing but was actually pretty good.

My wife made something good last night. She put a pile of feta cheese in the center of an 11"x14" cake pan, then filled in around the cheese with cheery tomatoes - about 1 or 2 tomatoes deep. Then sprinkled some Italian seasonings over it - garlic, basil, parsley ...
She baked it while she prepared some penne pasta.
When it was done baking, she stirred the cheese and tomatoes together. The tomatoes just fell apart. Poured the mix into the pasta, mixed, served. It's pretty good - if you like feta.
