greets again all, everything else covered in WAYS thread. Next up, Schwan #662 (2) lg toaster waffles, one cycle. Add usuals, nuke to plateful of mess. k-cup cocoa, all to smoking room desk, eat & continue with the papers. Looks like all here eating well.

Porridge of oat groats, milk and demerara sugar.
Lacking Grinding Teeth and not wanting to wear my Partial Dentures, It takes abut 30 chews of each spoonful to get the porridge into swallow mode. This means slow eating and that results in feeling full sooner so I eat less and am happy with the portion I had.
The only problem this makes me a terrible Dinner guest as I take way longer than everyone else to finish my plate.

Strips of an extra-lean 3/4” top round steak, skillet-grilled to the rare side of medium rare, with lightly toasted and buttered corn tortillas and smothered under medium-hot salsa. I’ve always called this bistec jalisco, but John can correct me if I’ve misnamed it. Any salsa left over is saved for eggs in the morning. This is one of my simplest and fastest kitchen tricks. Highly recommended. Tasty! Especially with an amber Dos Equis which, alas, I ain’t got none of.

And so will I if I drink straight from the tap, apparently. We're under a boil "advisory" (i.e., not an "order"). Seems so many water mains have broken, pressure in the overall system dropped enough for ground water to potentially leak into the pipes. Inconvenient, but there are people with far worse problems.

Could not get a burger so we had some Pizza Hut not sure if that is really pizza. You also can not get a fountain coke because of boil water conditions.
