Well, I'm smiling and so is the pup..she enjoyed her steak while I and the mrs. enjoyed ours. Got the rest of the steak for her for her evening meal...she looks like she is smiling...I know I am.  Glad we are able to give this old gal her good last years...she keeps us young and I hope she lasts another 5+ years with us. Sure beats shelter living. |

My Mrs. bought a wide assortment of cheese and salami. Add some crackers, French bread, assorted fruit and a glass of wine, best Farmer’s Lunch ever.👍😁 That sounds mighty good. I enjoy a meal like that. |

A Beef Picanha, USDA Prime no less, surrounded by split taters and a few carrots. Into a hot oven. Snowing intermittently. So, a good solution. I might make a mushroom gravy later.

I cooked a small prime rib roast today , with baked taters{ both sweet and red } and a tossed salad ,plus hat rolls. Three of us ate like kings, with enough left for the wife and I ,later in the week.
I'll slow cook the rib meat off the bones ,and with a little stock ,some veggies ,and a little magic I'll take a stab at shepherds pie...I know most folks sauce em up and stick em under the broiler, but I've done that and it just doesn't ring any bells for me.

hoping all have a nice Sunday. to be brunch soon as wifie back from couple days re-hab. 4 eggs, mangled ham slices, cubed x-sharp cheddar, all made to a mess in "griddle" part of GeoForeman grill Ususl drinks & English muffins to follow

Beautiful picture of contentment...small dogs rule the home. I know ours does...she took over the home as soon as she got here...makes a small squeak when she wants to be picked up or noticed. Only barks at other dogs...I think she is saying "Hey, look at me!" |

Lunch was roast beef, roast potato and roast carrots. Horseradish sauce.

Went to a local bar for food and entertainment.
Had a Rueben sandwich, tatter tots, jalapeno poppers. Bud Light to drink.
They make a pretty good Rueben.
