The first bowl of the Spanish garbanzo, hominy, potato, ham and roast pork soup. Seasoned with fresh cracked pepper and a lot of Hoibes de Provence. Not, repeat, not spicy. Just rich and good. I like it. It is supposed to have Spanish Chorizo and when I find some it will be added.

Homemade half-pound hamburgers and air fries. Hard to beat that. I have a two pounds of ground sirloin in the freezer. The biggest challenge is a decent bun. It is vital that the bun remain intact all the way to the end. I do not care how juicy the Burger is. That bun MUST remain present. THis requires special preparation. I can make that. Problem solved.

Crawfish Etouffe served in a medium crusty roll with top cut off and some bread removed. Got the second shot today, so far no symptoms. That is something I want to learn to make. My wife and I had a cooking class scheduled in the New Orleans French Quarter last April. We were going to make this and a couple of other dishes, but COVID hit and they cancelled the class - and we cancelled the trip.
