A bag of ripe banana's came my way, we made a standard loaf but the Bridgford Demi-loaf pans really did the trick. Great looking Banana bread. My wife switched to a new recipe recently. Makes a nice moist flavorful loaf. We both love it.

Wild caught Atlantic Salmon filets. Fresh not frozen. Arrived Denver yesterday morning at arrived at Taos by noon. Bought by me in PM and cooked today. Iron pan grilled in clarified butter and olive oil. Lightly done. Parsley, Italian, and lime drizzle. Salt and pepper. Just amazing. These are filets from near the head which I prefer over the tail section. Pricey? Yes. Worth it? Once in a while.
Need more Salmon in my life but will rely on cheaper filets.

There is nothing like fresh Salmon. I miss the days of landing on the average 25# Salmon apiece off of Moss landing on my buddies boat. Just a few hours on the water I would have over 100 pounds. It was so plentiful, i gave most of it away, what I would give to have one of them. The best recipe I ever had was stuffing a whole Salmon with fresh grape leaves, and cooking on the grill....it was heaven. Frozen/ farm raised just isn't the same...but I can get fairly decent wild caught from Costco.
