Meatballs & marinara sauce on polenta, tonight. A glass of red blend to accompany. Your own meatballs or store bought? Just nosy. I like to make my own the traditional way- beef, pork, veal, parsley, garlic, etc. Hard to find all the ingredients these days. These were store-bought, made there, not bad. I didn't have time to make my own. I usually do 6-lb. batches with beef-veal-pork (or pancetta). Keep them in freezer, but we ran out.

Grilled up a mess of cheeseburgers for dinner. America/cheddar/pepper jack cheeses (used separately), so we had a choice. Two burgers, no sides. Was stuffed and then napped.

I have yet to find a store sold meatball that were anything special. There is The Meatball Shop in NYC. They make an excellent variety and I believe they will ship frozen.

I sometimes like to chop onions up and mix in the patties, other times grilling onions, and of course a good sliced raw onion delivers.... my favorite addition to a burger.
