My new Captain Black Grape pipe. And another I.M. Corona. I really wonder why you specifically chose this pipe rather than another one? Aesthetics is always how I pair up pipes and tobaccos. When I saw that purple stem, that had to be the one!😃🍇

That is one fine looking pipe lighter, Duane. Thanks! My pipe shape one is showing its age and will soon be going out for repair so I think the new one will be an at home only piece.

My new Captain Black Grape pipe. And another I.M. Corona. Pictures didn't load for me. Now they did. Picked up that exact same lighter a few months ago. Nice!

I haven't found my Corona Pipemaster since the move. 5 I have a little soft flame Corona that works great, but it's not a pipe lighter.

A fly fishing reel, line, and tippet. I'm not sure what happened to my original reel, but at least I still have my grandfather's pole. I need to harvest over 100 Bluegill from our pond this year, and hot dog with a bobber just isn't doing the trick.
A pound of Balkan Sobranie 759 match. Gosh, this stuff is tasty!

I'm going to try a combination of what looks similar to the flying critters they usually snatch up.

If that's what they're used to snarfing up in your pond, it ought to work. I think the color and action of the MT just did a good job of drawing attention to itself.

Yup, chartreuse Mister Twisters on a jig head, attached to a small spinner rig. I never did anything that complicated. I was doing good to tie a fisherman's knot on the Mister Twister. Nothing complicated. Just a bit of bent wire with a flashy, little spoon. I was catching 12-14" (the honest truth, they are huge) bluegill and sunfish with it on ultralight tackle at a friend's pond a few weeks ago. Lotsa fun. If you sit on the dock with your feet in the water, they will come in for a nibble. This pond also has larger and smallmouth bass. There used to be pike, but given the size of the bluegill and sunfish, maybe not anymore.

Finally got lucky with my timing a SP tobacco drop. Around midnight last night, I saw that they had Salty Dogs available. Ordered several packages. They must've gotten a bunch, still shows as available.

Dorsal fins on a 14" bluegill would be downright deadly.

Now. I was missing some inexpensive but highly reliable pipes for when I'm outdoors. I thus chose a few Dr. Grabow pipes which, I admit, I have a lot of affection for. Can't go wrong with the good ol' Dr.! A Grand Duke Straight Billiard Smooth A Golden Duke Straight Pot Rustic A Savoy Bent Billiard Smooth A Riviera Bent Billiard Rustic And some Captain Black Royal pouches and pipe filters.

They must've gotten a bunch, still shows as available. I have salty dog in the cellar that I like, but for $2.00 more I can get twice as much Doblone d'Oro which although it is a different VaPer… (really a VaPer-Bur), at some point, the price point has the blend offering diminishing value to me. They need to double the size of them plugs for a couple bucks more.😀

Dorsal fins on a 14" bluegill would be downright deadly. Its a pretty good sized pond, originally dug for sand and gravel for a nearby highway. Spring fed. Used to catch pike in there. They must be gone now, to allow bluegill and sunfish to grow that large. When they get to that size, they hit your bait/lure pretty hard. Lotsa fun.

They'd be a real handful on an ultralight rig.

Now I want one. They're beaut's. And very grippy, so practical, as well. (I like my pinstriped Peterson lighter a lot. Always works, holds a lot of fuel. But it is slippery.)Solved the problem of slippery lighters with a bit of Winn Rod Wrap wrapped around the base of the lighter...now I can grip it even if it is wet.
