I often put on a late game to fall asleep, but if it's my boys, I gotta stay until the end. They can blow a big lead late in the game.

Welp. Win streak ends at 9. Lost a weird and frustrating one to the Marlins. Giants lost earlier, so we were tied for 1st for a couple hours. Couldn't close the deal.

Lost to the dang Marlins again. Crazy. Our infield defense is a sure enough problem.

Meh. BOS dropped two of three Angels games. I can't complain, because they were well played, close games. Umps have been terrible for a week. Unfortunately Rays have been winning, too.

Dodgers lost yet again to the dadgum Marlins. Hope to avoid the 4-game sweep tomorrow.
In other good news, Kershaw went on the IL with "forearm soreness."

Stop the presses! The Dodgers beat the Marlins!
Now it's home to start a series against the D'backs. Hoping we fare better against that bad team than we did against this one.

That's what's aggravating about the Dodgers' recent losses. They're not well played. Way too many errors on the infield. Nobody's hitting with runners in scoring position. Pitchers are walking guys and then giving up the big hit. We've been stinkin' up the joint.

Yeah, that's rough. I watched part of that real early game--yesterday? Not awake yet. They didn't look too stinky. Maybe they can regroup for the second half. Hell, Raffy Devers is going to the All Stars and he makes frustrating, costly errors.

Another bullpen game, featuring more errors leading to 2 runs, and two more runs walked in in the 9th. Took an ohfer with runners in scoring position, too. Oddly enough, we didn't win.

It hurts watching runs walk in. Phil weren't phighting at Phenway last night--lopsided win for the Sox. Didi Gregorius didn't seem as formidable as when he was a Yankee. That could be just pinstripe prejudice.

Walks and errors are 2 of my least favorite things, so it's pretty annoying.
Hey, the Phils wear p[h]instripes, too.

You wouldn't have enjoyed yesterday --I wanted to tear my hair out in the Phillies' half of the 8th. Three pitchers, two HBP, many walks, runs walked in, errors, and NINE runs before Sox could get it shut down. Oi. They'll try again today.

Yeah, that would've driven me apey.
Dodgers shook some rust off last night, I guess. Or I hope. Beat the D'backs 22-1.

Afternoon game today to finish the D'backs series and the first half of the season. Won it in walk-off fashion when Max Muncy hit a 3-run homer in the bottom of the 9th. Nice!

And Judge might have spread it to all others on Tuesday, a pox on all their houses. They are still planning to play tonight. I hope it was just false positives on the rapid tests, for everybody's sake.

Dodgers come back from down 6-1 to win it 8-6 in the bottom of the 9th over the Giants. Back down to a 1-game deficit with 2 games to go in the series.

Fresh Prince ftw. I watched their last two games. I was on the road last night and didn't see much of the game. Was inclined to give up on this one after a long day waiting around at the hospital. Glad I stuck with it. Will has a knack for the big moment.

Definitely was a better one not to miss. That was pretty clutch. I was going to punch out until that rally in 6th (?), then I had to watch the rest. Sox were rained out, so watched Rays v Orioles, then LA.
I hope your mom is well.

(When I was growing up, if they said your name and "ICU" in the same sentence, you were not long for this world. Now you come home the next day.) The 6th, yeah. Chris Taylor is probably my favorite guy on these Dodger teams. Guy just works his arse off to get every drop he can out of his talent. Gonna be sad when we lose him this off-season.

Yes, they kick you out pronto nowadays. Insurance barely covers what they do. He had a good outing. I missed Mookie, though.

Hip pointer is one of those injuries that never entirely goes away.
