Peretti Pride of Loch Lomond in a MM Diplomat My son sang this song at the college he attended before joining the Marine Corps, his experience was at Loch Lomond near Santa Cruz where we fished together, and as he headed to Afghanistan, he made a side trip to Loch Lomond across the pond. As he went on several missions after, we listened to his song and prayed for safety. I've played that song on a dulcimer. Also had the opportunity to visit Loch Lomond and take a boat ride in the fall of 2018. So I couldn't help myself from buying this blend when I saw the name. Fortunately, it's a really good blend that I enjoy.

Erik Stokkebye Evening Flake in a MM Legend. There might be room for a pound of this. I think a box is 1.5lb, so that much! I might end up in the woodchipper if I buy any tobacco right now.

May 10th. The rain has ended in the area leaving a cool damp feel to the morning sunshine. my new favorite is Kellys coin (c&d). short bowl and that is all you need. I dumped my gates of light tin. hate wasting tobacco but sometimes a blend is just that bad. One might try down blending or storing until winter(can not taste much in the cold), but this blend is not worth the trouble.. some sort of collision of the flavor profile is all I can come up with as C&D has most of the blends i enjoy daily. So now the offending blend has been filed in the round file cabinet..(trashcan) and i am free to load good tobaccos again. on deck are two titans filled with plug tobacco. Castelli GGG lovat has spatkplug.. not sure if the name is for the automotive connection or the fact you light it often.."spark"ing a lighter on the "plug".. but what a lovely blend once lit. next is the ebony spigot 107 peterson filled with SPC plum pudding. the plug remaining has been in an open tin for a bit and seems primed for a fine bowl. Those two should take care most of the afternoon! have a great day!

Brown Bogie in my Joe Case bent egg, thanks to Ted. My kind of smoke, but maybe not for children or the faint of heart. It’s stout. I’ll have to order more of this
