Another busy day of mowing and hauling firewood. I've managed only one bowl of Balkan Sobranie 759 match in the Grabow freehand.

Smoking up a tin of Erinmore flake that I negligently let dry too much. When you pop a square tin in your left hand, you should have a jar in your right hand.

Walked out of the house this morning with coffee, pipe and a jar of Haunted Bookshop. Gotta re-fill the jar. I'm going to need a day kit to take out with me, large enough for a few jars and a couple pipes and pipe cleaners. I just finished a bowl of GH Rum Flake in a MM Washington 5th Ave. Looking to see what's next. Also, smoked a cigar mid-afternoon.

Had some Mixture 79 in a corncob something or other while cleaning the garage a bit. I don't hate M79, as some do. It's fine. But I won't need to resupply right away, either. That was followed by Watch City Simply Red in a Rossi Vittoria something or other. That was more my speed.

That was followed by Watch City Simply Red in a Rossi Vittoria something or other. That was more my speed. I feel the same way about the dreaded M79. It's a decent mild aromatic. Mild aromatics aren't my thing, but it's not hideous. Dunhill Ye Olde Signe in a MM Legend straight Flat. Cranberry and bubble water to drink.

hope all having a nice weekend so far. Earlier, full walks with Quorum 6x50 for company (chair, little table set on back porch...finish cigar later). All watering done (about 1/2 at my creaky age to do same). After the humans are fed, finish paper then a needed nap. Probably finish the gar then Exotique in large yard pipe & some yard work.
74, mostly cloudy, should rain sometime

May 23rd. As i never vary a set routine once it is created the petite pete barrel with the Castello Sea rock blend. for a full aromatic it is good. the tobaccos are very good and give a rich smoke to the bottom of a bowl. A bit mild in power. So we rode all the good roads to washington mo. for an okay breakfast.(burned eggs of any kind is terrible flavor) with spirited chatting with the Elder Riders and a couple of extra riders that attended. 12 folks arriving at once throws a wrench at most cafes giving plenty of time to hear all the good gossip and tech tips one desires. then a ride back along 94 hiway to weldon springs where most break off to their respective home destinations. After arriving home i loaded my current pipe with pennington Gap. what a nice blend. hope you all had great day!
