Cheers brother. I just noticed that blend is on your favourites list. Guess I should have checked first.

Went through and sanded out most of the cake, good bourbon scrub on everything, and now I'm taking the Stanwell Vario 124 for it's maiden voyage, with me anyway. Balkan Sasieni, I cracked a new tin, even though I told myself I was going to work through the open ones.

WCC Old Dominion in a Don Warren Santa Fe. Definitely a Warren pipe, he really makes a great pipe! Santa Fe is a great town, but it will be forever etched in my mind as a place of horror. I had to hazmat service a big box home improvement store that rhymes with Blowās. They had 35-55 gallon drums of hazmat waste I had to process by segregating, weighing, packing, manifesting as my first stop on a 23 stop run. Eight hours of grueling work without a break, recurring nightmares.

Good night, all. War Horse Green is on deck in cob. Tap water on the rocks. Bruins lost completely at the end and Red Sox trampled the Yankees. Good enough.

June 6th. A slight change to the loadout for this mornings ride. I took the cob instead of the petite pete. Castello sea rock blend for the cavendish to be sure but the cob needs to be smoked to get value and seemed a good fit. Smoked well as we know they do. So now back home in the increasing heat I filled the cob with penny farthing (glp) This blend seems the base for six pence in a very thin shag cut. Damp, super thin, but without the terrible thing they topped six pence with. On a personal note; If there is no full description on the blend relying instead on hyperbole and words such as "mystery" or "you find a strange pipe on a table" avoid it until full research has been completed... anyhoo, to wash the penny out of my tastebuds I cracked a tin of C&D Burley #1. I find it much nuttier than earthy with a delightful sweetness at the first half of the bowl. power level is medium with a growing pepper as you near the end. I will try some blending experiments with the penny farthing (you know it will just be semois) might be enough to just get through two ounces. I threw the open tin of six pence away and gave the second to a friend who likes to experiment with basically everything..lol. . saving any of the penny farthing is an improvment. GLP offers temple bar and sparkplug which are true treasures in a bowl so I am going to forgive and forget the awful thing they put in six pence. Tolerance in a World of difference dictates there must be someone somewhere who likes that blend. So as I enjoy a nice burley on a warm day I bid all of you to have a great week!

PS Luxury Navy Flake up next with more Bengal Spice tea on the side. Currently cloudy with temperature sitting in the high 40s. Very unusual today as it feels like March weather. Being an outside smoker Iām wearing my fleece jacket with my portable heater set on high. Brrr.......
