GLP Navigator in a sandblasted Parker bent Bulldog. How are you liking the Parker? I've only smoked it a couple times, but so far its a great smoker. Burns rubbed out flake with ease. Classic shape, classic old London pipe.

Was at dad's house with son to do yard work. I weeded and mulched, while he took care of the lawn. Bayou Morning in the Monday cob during the drive. Now, back home on front porch with a glass of ice water and Orion's Arrow in the same cob.

GH Broken Scotch Cake in the Parker bent Bulldog. I've been kind of ignoring this blend. Bought some bulk back in January, and was disappointed that it didn't taste like the tinned version I had. Thought it was time to give it another try. Dried it to a crisp. We'll see how it goes.

50/50 mix of Sutliff 526 "Old Professor" and PS 52 "Proper English" in the Willard. It's good. The Old Professor is bone dry, which helps tame the moisture in the Proper English.

July 27th. I have been slowly working through the Black Serviceman series from C&D. They honor several groups such as marines, airmen, etc. Buffalo Soldier is the current tin. I cant really tell what the flavor profile is yet but it is a good smoke. As we are in a state of flux in the homestead all my best briars are safely packed away so all the old work pipes are being used. gbd 256, luxor canadian, savi 515, and I even got the old vauen classic volcano back out. So far they all give about the same flavor profile which may be why I have yet to determine all the flavors..lol.. have a great week!
