Tossed and turned all night. I made a search for the strongest coffee pod in the house, and now I'm smoking a hobo's bowl of spill-tray leavings, and feeling like road-kill.

H&H Blackhouse in the Ropp Liverpool again, trying to keep away from any extreme topping while I break this pipe in. Its a pretty fun pipe, the really long stem gives a nice cool smoke, much much thinner than I am used to though so i'm still trying to find a hold I like. My only complaint is that the walls of the bowl are much much thinner than im used to, so ive had to manage my heat a bit more. this is fine given that im still breaking in the pipe and dont want to run it too hot anyway. All in all a fun little pipe, but probably wont be using it on my long drives due to the additional care I have to take in lighting it.

July 27th. As before I am still running the c&d buffalo soldier in various work pipes.(a "work" pipe is one where I do not care so much to abuse with frequent bowls or even aros) I mainly wanted to post that my tin of small batch sun bear black locust arrived today. I read it sold out 10k tins in 8 hours..and I should store it a while before smoking.

They say that leftovers taste better the second day, and I agree...popped the tin of 2014 GL Pease jackknife plug yesterday, and it is better today. Wow, that looks tasty.

The Flue cured Virginia and Kentucky with age really delivers the goods. I get no credit, Greg Pease does though.

no idea how Sutliff Creme Brulee burns dry and all the way down, as sticky as it is filling the bowl. But I like it
