I am hurt to the quick. You are a mean man. Awww, I'm sorry I hurt your feelings. Please tell me what your preferred pronouns are so I don't do it again.

Quick update on the rescue pup ... he's doubled weight already and loves chewing on everything. We've named him Hamlet and I've gotta give props to terrapinflyer for suggesting that one. 👍😎

We met a neat young pit bull today. About 6 months old and very sweet and playful. She's a very dark gray and white. Norla. This is the best picture I could get as she wouldn't stay still for a second.

No. She belongs to the young woman who sold my wife the greenhouse. We spent more time playing with her than paying attention to the purchase.

Yeah, that is an idyllic setting, especially living in the southwest. I have a hankering to see the colors up at snowbowl, or get out to the Mogollon rim.

Thanks guys. The top photo is on a trail not far from our house. It is a short one, but has a nice waterfall at the end that he enjoys playing in. He's great on hikes, doesn't get too far out ahead, and always comes back when called or to check to see why I am lagging behind.

Yeah, my dog tells me where to go and in which direction and I obey and am a responsive buddy.

Mom used to take my Golden with her on her walks. He'd be off doing his own thing, sniffing what have you, but as soon as another walker got within 50 feet of Mom, he'd come back and trot in circles around her till they passed by.

The most successful contract in human history was when we and dogs got together about 30,000 years ago.

Anthropologists consider it one of the major reasons homo sapiens succeeded as well as it did.

A recent shot of our little girl. She's just over a year old now - and knows she runs the house. I have my easy chair. My wife has the couch. Tiffany (an apt name it turns out) has the love seat. We lay a pillow flat on the love seat so she can sit on it and lean on the arm.

The most successful contract in human history was when we and dogs got together about 30,000 years ago. And when dogs always bear the blame for every scent of flatulence in the home. Duke is one guilty dog.

No. She belongs to the young woman who sold my wife the greenhouse. We spent more time playing with her than paying attention to the purchase. That is an indication of a certain age. We recognize the dog is more important than the transaction. It could have been a kid just as easily.
