Peter Heinrichs Chateau Henri #8 (English blend) in a Dunhill Group 6 Shell Billiard. Peets coffee at my side. Beautiful day today as the temperatures fall in Northern California. I agree wonderful porch, pipe and coffee weather.

On the back porch having some G&H Bosun Cut Plug in the Wiebe purple radiator pipe with blasted volcano bowl. It is 56 degrees out and I ended up grabbing my fleece. Starting to feel like fall up here.

Busy weekend here with family activities and a trip to hunting property to take care of some housekeeping. It's been Haunted Bookshop, Three Friars, Bayou Morning and Orion's Arrow since yesterday afternoon. Currently, more Haunted Bookshop in the Sunday cob.

Ken Byron's "Plateau of Leng" in the Willard lovat. Bulleit Bourbon, neat. What seemed at my first exposure to be an overwhelming dose of Latakia now seems like just enough. That's how it sneaks up on you. It does, indeed. Emily warned me that something like this might happen. I started with Yale Mixture, moved on to C&D Byzantium, and now I feel that anything milder than Balkan Sobranie 759 or Sutliff 526 Old Professor don't have quite enough Latakia in them

I bought a brick of Pirate Kake early on and I was spoiled for many others. As I remember, Captain Earle's Ten Russians satisfied that yen. Today's breakfast burley was ERR Match. Decaf from the Keureg hit the spot.

Yep. They're great smoking pipes and I'm always on the lookout for more Merkur 2000's. They're also the only German pipes I've got so far. Many German made pipes take Danish cues, and Merkur's I've seen are all very Danish and I also love that about them. I'm starting with more Ennerdale Flake this morning in that Merkur 2000 bent heeled apple.

Started the day with Haunted Bookshop in the Monday cob and coffee on the front porch. Switched to Three Friars in the same, while watering the pots and baskets. The growing season is winding down. Pleasant morning here. Sunny, mild and breezy. Hope you all have a great Monday.

And then I hit Plum Pudding, Kings Ransom, and ultimately, Plateau of Leng and Notorious. Now there 's no coming back. lol. I still smoke them all, but Plateau and Notorious give me such immense pleasure.

sperrytops,
Plum Pudding was one of the first tobacco's that I really loved. Went on to also enjoy C&D's Mountain Camp as well as their Star of the East. I'll have to check out a few of the others listed.
EDIT: don't know how I managed to mess up the quote.
