Thanks John. This pipe was in a lot I purchased a couple of years ago from a colleague who was given the pipes by an Episcopal priest friend of his. I’ve no clue as to the age of the pipe but it was heavily smoked but not abused. I just got around to restoring it today. It smokes quite well.

The Straight Grain C series dates to the 70s and pre-dates the 6mm balsa insert.

Good morning, Patch! Anybody hungover yet in honour of this long weekend? Starting the day with Royal Yacht in my Cumberland Lovat 4111 (2014) with coffee. Enjoy the day and take it easy for those who indulged a bit too generously, yesterday.

My own Lion and Lamb blend in a Mark Tinsky freehand with a Carey "Magic Inch" replacement stem. A tasty reward for letting the dog out at 3:30 in the morning!

Dark Rum in a semi churchwarden bent Dublin with a bronze acrylic stem; it's marked Conveztti, as best I can tell. My usual hot coffee sits here beside me, as I wonder why I've held on to this pipe for so long. A nice looking pipe, but a poor smoke on it's best day, I picked it up years ago, hoping the wife might take to it and give up the Marlboros...no such luck.

happy weekend so far to all. Full walks earlier, Quorum 5x50 for company. After the humans are fed, Abingdon in AshtonMagnum bulldog & finish the paper. Nothing important planned for the day.
62, overcast, headed for 74 eventually. Did rain overnite, saved me from watering

Royal Yacht in my County 4111 Lovat (2015) with Peach Bubly sparkling water on the side after being to the gym this morning. This was a good week: 3 work outs and 2 X 30 min. jogs. I'm really getting back into it and I hope it will continue.

HH Burley Flake in smooth Aldo Velani bent bulldog back on the porch watching wife mow the grass. I did get the house air filters changed and this time it went better. Who ever installed the boxes did not do a good job and they are not square something that pisses me off everytime I change the filters.

English Rum in a Caminetto 120. A forward canted Dublin, in the business finish, with a slightly bent , purple/black, acrylic stem with silver logo. A bit more curve and this would pass for a zulu, but that being my least favorite shape, I like it just the way it is.
