Milan's My finest Kind, in a small Checker bulldog by Yellowbowl ,spring water on the side. I'm really enjoying the Checker I bought last week. I'm not a fan of partial rustications or spot-carvings. This design is the exception. All the Checkers I've seen are really nice looking. Haven't come across a bulldog, yet. Got any pics?

Did the school run. Came back, made some tea, and had some EMP in the Sav. Ready for the days dumb meetings. Enjoyed the pipe despite the misty Scottish morning. Nosily watched an ambulance take someone from the Airbnb down my street.
Life is short, our health is fickle. Enjoy every bowl.

Happy Labor Day Patchers. Ezra Zion coffee. Captain Earles Night Watch in a San Jacabo La Fuma 3/4 bent with a 9mm filter. Nothing like coffee and latakia to get the day started 😛

happy holiday all. Later I'll be doing some "labor" outside as time to start snipping down some dead flowers starting with row of peonies (that might be it for this creaky old body). Meanwhile, full 2miles power walks, no-band 6x42 for company (will finish same later with the above yard work). After the Ed is fed, Abingdon in Castello "Castello" grade bent dublin & finish the paper.
6l, overcast, should hit 72 eventually

Blackhouse in the Ropp prince. Halfway through this tin, and this is just a very well balanced, every day, mild English.

snipped the peonies to the ground finishing the a.m. cigar & Abingdon in flat bottom cob. Have to do on hands/knees; can't do same standing & bent over. they not bagged, just lawn rake into piles. Some other snippings..toss on lawn, run thru with mower, much less to haul to yard waste transfer station eventually. Now tea at desk, Exotique in LaughingBacchus meer in smoking room. Snoozie soon, then to sups.
70, clear, low on the humids at present
Ed Duncan, Batavia, NY gots 'em, smokes 'em since 62

Had some C&D John Marr in a slight bent rusticated Leonessa Briosa apple earlier this morning gardening.
Now having some 2016 C&D Haunted Bookshop with a pinch of GH Dark Plug added to it, in my RDP blasted bulldog.

Got a friend like that...we've been communicating since 2013...we stay in touch a little less now, but the closeness is still there...both of us trying to stay alive just one more day...least that is what we tell each other. Neither of us will go to a home...will both die right in our own homes and that is the way it will be. He's sent me pipes and I've sent him pipes, too...been a long time, we still haven't met each other in person...maybe one day.

Have just finished my first bowl this morning. Dunhill Early Morning Pipe in my Savinelli Canadian 802 sandblast. The pipe is new for me, an estate pipe from the 1980s, there was in perfect condition, with new chamber coating and 100% clean. I got it for about 1 month ago. Have smoked about 1.5 tin Early Morning Pipe in the pipe and it's really a nice smoker.

Taking a little break with a little Prince Andrew during a long drive to scout out a fishing spot. I think it's a perfect place to bring my fly rod.
