Taking a little break with a little Prince Andrew during a long drive to scout out a fishing spot. I think it's a perfect place to bring my fly rod.
Wow, if I was there I would only want to hear the sounds of nature.

Last pipe of the night, C&D Redburn in my first cob. Bought it about 35 years ago on a hunting/fishing trip. Just refinished and re-stemmed it. Still need to take a photo of it.

EMP in the Chacom with a cuppa. Enjoying these moments as the "work from home" scheme will soon end here. I'll have to get off at an earlier train stop and smoke my morning pipe on the walk to the office, which will be interesting during the Scottish winter...

hope all had a nice 3-day "weekend". Time for some "labor" today for the retired since '07! In from earlier full walks, no-band 5x50 for company. After the Ed is fed, Exotique in lg. RadiciRind full bent poker/sitter & continue with the papers. Later a trip to recycle center with empties. Should be around $40 back from all (huge "contractor" size bags) full tied together with pipe cleaners. Probably some yard work in the mix
56, clear, rain predicted for later

Astley's No.1 Mixture in a Savinelli with tea and coffee... Lucky you. I can't get a date for the plumber, AC guy, painter, or dirt mover. They all say that 'I'm on the board". AC guy and painter are out with Covid-19.

That's what I get for not doing a double check...It's lion, but you knew that...I was just in from setting up the firepit ...I have a dead oak tree in the yard , and It's dropping limbs like crazy. I got a tree removal guy coming to cut it down and chip it, but if he doesn't hurry ,I 'll burn it a limb at a time.

My "Stag & Sickle" blend (Balkan Sobranie 759 match & Sutliff 526 'Old Professor' in equal parts) in a Calabresi 600 12 bent pot. It has a vulcanite stem, which I'm not entirely thrilled with, but it has a nice, big bowl.
