Luckily, I'm no mere mortal! When I got Covid, it ran out of my body screaming! I love smoking bacterial blooms and my lady nicotine!

Thanks. Beacon is why I didn’t get into 2015. I was lucky and the first tin of this I ever bought was 5 years old and nice and sparkly when I popped it. I’ve still got 9 tins of it stashed in my McClelland hoard. And your address? I do home sitting for free! Thanks. Pass. 😜😂

I also smoked Haunted Bookshop and Rouxgaroux on the drive to and from the pipe shop. This evening, we smoked some 2018 Carolina Red Flake that my son-in-law got there. We also smoked some SG Brown No.4 from 2012 that I bought at the shop.

Thoughts on Rouxgaroux? (Did I ask this already?)
Mine still hasn't arrived. In fact, according to USPS, they don't even have it yet, despite my receiving a tracking number for it a few days ago now.

I like Rouxgaroux a lot. In fact, maybe more than this year's Carolina Red Flake w/Perique. Cellar time may change my opinion, of course. The Rouxgaroux has a little codgerly vibe to it. Immediately smokable and enjoyable. Don't know if time will improve it, but that might not matter.

I can see where a codgerly vibe would appeal to someone who smokes a lot of HB.

I get the same thing from Watch City Slices. I'm okay with being called a codger. Even though I really don't care for the OTC blends I've tried.

The Inspector is a pipe smoker but Poirot does not like the smell and shows it, that's why they make a bet (the trophy was the pipe) for the case and the Inspector finally lost. I am smoking Borkum Riff Bronze.

I am smoking Borkum Riff Bronze. I have seen the episode. I am also a big fan of David Suchet as Hercule Poirot, I have the complete DVD collectionset.

I've had two bowls of Rouxgaroux now, and thus far it is very good. It has a nice raisiny sweetness to it with a touch of tartness. It is interesting as I picked up some simply red earlier this year, which I believe is the base for the blend, and was not impressed. I figured I would give SR some time to age, but will have to give it another go sooner.
