McConnell 5 Year Matured Virginia in an inexpensive Meerschaum. Thoughts on that one? (Did I ask this already?)

Well, it smokes nice, dry and clean. Pure tobacco flavor. I picked this up on a whim at a smoke shop, while visiting daughter and son-in-law. It didn't cost much, since its pressed meerschaum. Thought I'd try this one to help me decide if I want to splurge on something a little more expensive.
But, if you're asking about the tobacco, I like it. After sitting for more than a year, its seems to have mellowed, sweetened and gained a more complex flavor. First time I tried it, I thought it was harsh and bitey. Flavor was kind of simple and not much of it.

I awoke only moments ago, the big freehand clutched in my hand, burn to just a tiny bit of tobacco in the heel, and my pipe nail & Zippo resting on the arm of the recliner. That deep clean of the Kristi musta really done the trick, or I'm getting to old to be left alone with a pipe!!!

Starting things off with more of the Peretti sampler. This time their Blend No. 333 in the Morgan Bones oval apple. It is another good smoke. It has a slight sweetness, but I do not get the floral notes like I did in the No. 52 (I attribute those to the Turkish/orientals in No.52). This is easily a blend I could smoke all day.
